A 100ml all-natural exfoliating facial scrub that brightens, clears and refines facial skin while removing dead skin cells and smoothing fine lines. Gentle enough for sensitive and mature skin, yet effective enough to make a visible difference. Presented in a 100ml aluminium tin, widely recyclable across the UK. Vegan.
What Makes This Scrub Different?
The exfoliating element comes from ground, naturally pink jojoba seeds alongside a pinch of leaf tea, rich in tannins which yield antimicrobial properties to help prevent blemishes and breakouts. Unlike many commercial exfoliants, there are no harsh synthetic microbeads, no SLS, no SLES and no artificial surfactants. Water-free and preservative-free, including no parabens.
The delicate fragrance comes from an essential oil blend of steam-distilled geranium and patchouli, reflecting the popular fragrance of our honey and rosehip oil facial moisturising cream, making the two products a natural pairing.
Natural, Sustainable and Made in Yorkshire
Made in small batches in our Malton, Yorkshire workshop from entirely natural ingredients. Free from SLS, SLES, artificial surfactants, parabens and synthetic preservatives. The 100ml aluminium tin is widely recyclable. Never tested on animals. Suitable for vegans.

How to Use
- Pick up a small amount of product on your fingertips. A little goes a long way as this is a water-free product.
- Rub into dry, makeup-free skin and work over the skin's surface with gentle circular movements for up to three minutes, avoiding the sensitive eye area.
- Remove thoroughly with a damp cloth, ideally a muslin or soft flannel. If desired, follow with our Shea Butter Facial Soap to remove any remaining residue.
- Pat dry with a soft towel.

Is this suitable for sensitive or mature skin?
Yes. This scrub uses ground jojoba seeds as the exfoliant rather than harsh synthetic particles, making it considerably gentler than many commercial facial scrubs. It is free from SLS, parabens and artificial additives. It has been particularly well received by customers with sensitive and mature skin who have found other exfoliants too harsh or drying.
Is this suitable for menopausal skin?
Yes. Geranium essential oil is one of our top recommended ingredients for menopausal skin, and the nourishing base of coconut oil and shea butter helps to replenish moisture that menopausal skin can lose. The gentle exfoliation also helps to improve radiance and skin texture, which can become duller during hormonal changes.
How often should I use this scrub?
We recommend using it two to three times a week for most skin types. If your skin is particularly sensitive, start with once a week and increase as your skin adjusts.
How long will the tin last?
The generous 100ml tin is long-lasting. With use two to three times a week, most customers find it lasts two to three months.
Do EU orders incur extra charges on delivery?
No. All relevant duties and taxes for EU orders are collected at checkout, so you will not face any unexpected charges on delivery.

RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
Ive just purchased this scrub & have so far used it twice. I was very hesitant at first to use a scrub again as Ive always found them to be abrasive on my mature & sensitive skin (especially on the chin area). However Im delighted with this one as firstly it smells divine, feels gentle on my skin & has brought a clarity & glow to my face. Just like the mask I bought-you can feel the quality in the ingredients & the difference between this quality scrub & others. I use very little & will use it max twice per week as I dont think I need more at moment. Wonderful!

After discovering Cosy cottage products whilst on holiday in Yorkshire, I now buy their products on line and looking for more natural products, I decided to try this. It works very well, its gentle on my skin and leaves my sensitive skin feeling moisturised & soft. Some reviewers have said it leaves a residue on their skin but I use the shea butter soap afterwards and that removes that residue without stripping the skin of that moisturised feeling. I use this at night and my skin still feels soft in the morning.
