Our natural, universally loved sweet orange essential oil fragrance is created from steam distilled zest of orange and has been a favourite with our customers for years; a fresh and enlivening, natural bath or shower time staple

- A 95g bar of orange infused, palm oil free, handmade dark chocolate, created by our longstanding supplier and friend Chocaffair, just down the road in York. 

- One of our popular cinnamon and sweet orange fragranced 100% soy wax ramekin candles.  Fragranced only with natural essential oils, the warm, festive fragrance contains no potentially harmful artificial limonoids. This 4oz candle will burn for around 20 hours in a draft free and well ventilated environment. 

Everything is made from natural ingredients in our Malton, Yorkshire workshops. We use no palm oil, no drying artificial surfactants (SLS, sumphates, SLES, sulphites), no parabens and no artificial colours or fragrances in our products. Instead we use top quality plant derived oils, vegetarian waxes and steam distilled flowers, plants and fruits.

Our boxes, wrappers and jars are all fully reusable, recyclable or compostable and we use no plastic packaging.

Our caring bundle of shaving-time treats. We have received outstanding feedback from shavers with sensitive skin about the benefits of our natural, SLS free shaving soap. 

Everything is handmade in small, low energy consumption and low wastage batches, in our Yorkshire workshop, from an ecologically friendly coconut oil base. We only use natural ingredients, free from palm oil and the potentially  harmful effects of parabens and SLS. We add no water to our extra long-lasting products, nor do we use any artificial colorings. Our fragrances are all lovingly created from steam distilled flowers., fruits and plants.

At Cosy Cottage we do not test anything on animals and we do not commission third parties to do so on our behalf. We have plenty of willing friends and family members who are more than happy to test our products themselves and we work closely with medical professionals,  a cosmetics safety consultant and microbiology lab. to ensure everything is absolutely safe to use.

We are delighted to launch our new, 60g super-long-lasting glide-on natural deodorants. A natural, value-for-money personal care product without excessive packaging or drama! No expensive refills, just a 100% natural deodorant in recyclable packaging. We don't hide our ingredients - everything is natural and listed below.

Just like our original, extremely popular natural deodorants i aluminium tins, these new, natural deodorants are aluminium, additive, propellant and paraben free and offered in a fully recyclable cardboard tube. All our fragrances are made from natural essential oils, blended from steam distilled fruit, flowers and plants.

Mindful of the impact of climate change on the stability of personal care products, we have tested these products at sustained high temperatures to ensure stability as our summers become warmer. 

Product Description

These fabulous glide-on deodorants are aluminium free, plastic free, paraben free, alcohol free and palm oil free. They're packaged in fully biodegradable cardboard tubes and fragranced with our exclusive custom blends of essential oils, for a naturally fresh experience. The combination of rich shea butter, sweet almond oil and vitamin E protects and nourishes your sensitive underarm skin. In our extensive trials, the effectiveness of these products has been demonstrated for normal activity and also by sports enthusiasts.  

Our glide-on deodorant is available in generous 60g tubes in our two, popular essential oil deodorant blends and is a super long-lasting, value for money product.

To use, simply push up the tube slightly and glide the product thoroughly, covering your underarm. As with all of our products, we refrain from adding any bulking agents or water. This means our natural deodorant is very concentrated and a little goes a long way.

These long-lasting 120g, 100% palm oil free, Seagrown branded, kelp infused soaps have been developed by us in our workshops, where they're handmade from a combination of locally sourced Seagrown seaweed, premium quality, natural plant oils and locally sourced beeswax.

One of the key active ingredients in kelp is aloin, which has been cited in several studies as being helpful in regenerating the connective tissues within the skin, lightening dark spots, moisturising and yielding benefits for eczema and psoriasis patients. Additionally, these soaps are free from SLS, SLES and all artificial foaming agents and surfactants, whose drying and irritating effects on the skin and exacerbation of a range of skin conditions, are well documented. Instead these soaps produce bubbles due to the unique combination of high quality, natural oils and fats in the formulation. They are also free from all preservatives, such as the potentially hormone disrupting parabens group of chemicals, present in many commercially produced personal care products. 

The soaps are created in small batches using processes which consume minimal fossil fuels and produce no waste. Whole, unprocessed, dried kelp, sustainably sourced from the seashore at Scarborough, on the North Yorkshire coast, only 24 miles away from the workshop, is the key ingredient in these exclusive soaps. The kelp is added towards the end of the saponification process which ensures that the beneficial, bio-active components of the kelp are preserved and present in the highest possible quantities, in the finished product. 

The gentle fragrances present in the soaps are created from a unique blend of essential oils, made from steam distilled flowers , plants and fruits rather than synthetic parfums or limonoids and there are no added colourants, whiteners such as Titanium oxides, or dyes, just the natural colours of the component ingredients.

Our Seagrown soaps are presented in exclusive, Seagrown design cardboard box packaging which is free from plastic and can all be fully recycled or composted.

This extra-large 290g bar is ideal for daily use in the bath or shower and will imbue the intensely moisturising properties of our shea butter facial formulation to your whole body. Moreover, it's all-natural, additive free and suitable for vegans too.  

Made in small, waste-free batches, from only five, natural ingredients, in our Malton workshops, and containing excess, free shea butter, this Extra Large 290g Moisturising Bath and Shower Bar will gently cleanse and revitalise the skin; a true spa-like experience for the face and whole body.

Like our original shea butter facial soap, this extra large 290g bath and shower version is gently fragranced with a hint of sweet orange essential oil and contains no artificial ingredients, foaming agents (such as SLS or SLES), colours, preservatives (such as parabens) or whitening agents (such as titanium oxides). Simply pure, moisturising, long-lasting and natural luxury for your whole body.  

We have added an attractive and long-lasting natural rope to this make this product easy to use and store in your bathroom or shower and the product is presented in a smart, cardboard box, ideal for wrapping and gifting to someone special.

As with all our products, this shaving soap is lovingly handmade in small, waste-free batches at our workshop in Malton, Yorkshire.

The 55g bar is suitable for use on the whole body for those customers seeking a gentle, natural shaving product. We have received feedback from customers with incredibly sensitive facial skin who often come out in a rash when using shaving products. When using our natural Shaving Soap this didn't happen and their skin was left feeling smooth.

Everything in this product is SLS free, additive-free, palm oil-free, cruelty-free, plastic-free and delightfully 100% natural. All packaging is either fully recyclable cardboard or plant derived, including our clear bags and bubble wrap, which will compost within a year.

New to our accessories collection is this handsome and easy to use bamboo and stainless steel razor. The handle is made from sustainably grown bamboo. Each razor comes with 1 x razor blade (other double-edged razor blades such as Shark or Astra will fit and are available in plastic free packaging) If looked after, this razor will be reusable forever and offers a closer shave than many other razors, including electric razors.
