Our regenerative Aloin-Rich Face Mask - part of our growing facial skincare and beauty range.

This generous and long-lasting 100ml tin uses the well-known therapeutic qualities of aloin, found in both aloe vera and in kelp. This new mask will nourish dry facial skin, regenerate and help to soothe troublesome conditions including rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.

Harvested from the sea on Yorkshire's coast, natural and fast-growing kelp contains the compound aloin, which is also present in the natural aloe vera gel, within this rich and regenerative facial mask. Aloin is proven to help regenerate the connective tissues within the skin, regenerating and improving its structure and appearance. The nutrient-rich seaweed has also been known to counteract the sign of aging, helping to smooth pigmentation imbalances and even lighten age spots.

Made in the Cosy Cottage workshops in Malton, North Yorkshire, using processes which consume little fossil fuel and produce minimal waste. As with all Cosy Cottage products, this new product is made without hormone-disrupting parabens, sulphates and harmful preservatives. It is also 100% palm oil free, and the packaging is plastic-free and fully recyclable.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Pick up a a scoop of product on your fingertips or a soft brush if preferred. Start with a marble sized amount of mask. You can pick up more product as you go. Remember that all our products are water free, great value for money and a little goes a very long way.
Apply gently onto the surface of clean, dry skin over the whole facial area, using gentle, sweeping movelments. Apply sufficient mask to leave a layer or top of the skin and avoid getting the product into your eyes. You can use a soft brush to sweep the product onto the skin preferred.
Relax and lie back and allow the product to sink into the skin. We recommend leaving the product for a period of 15 to 20 minutes if you are able to do so. The product will however prove effective after around 5 minutes if you are short of time.
After leaving for the chosen period, gently massage any product which has not been absorbed, over the skin's surface, using small, circular movements. Take care to avoid the sensitive eye area.
Remove any residual product from the skin's surface gently using a slightly damp soft flannel or cloth and pat dry.

Our rich, soothing hand balm is made entirely from natural ingredients. It is not diluted with water and contains no unnatural additives. This intensely moisturising product is coconut oil based with shea butter and aloe vera.

The balm is ideal for chapped or very dry hands. A gentle sweet orange scent is created by the addition of essential oil fragrance. Available in a 30ml size or 60ml size.

This product is VEGAN.

For very dry hands, why not add a pair of our bamboo gloves for a luxurious, moisturising treat. Cover your hands with cream, pop on the gloves and leave for 20 minutes or more. The heat inside the gloves will enable the cream to penetrate deeply for a regenerating hand-spa experience. Remove the gloves and either rub in any excess or wipe gently with a soft cloth.

We have received great feedback from farmers, gardeners, cooks and other clients, suffering from dry skin, who have found our hand balm to be uniquely helpful and beneficial.

This beautiful hand balm is handmade in our small, cottage laboratories in Malton, Yorkshire, UK and packaged in a fully-recyclable glass jar with an aluminium lid. A little of this product goes a very long way as we add no added water at all.

The smaller 30ml jar is ideal for handbag or travel.

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Please keep them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and do pop them in the fridge to reset if required.

No expensive refills, just a 100% natural deodorant in recyclable packaging. We don't hide our ingredients - everything is natural and listed below.

Just like our original, extremely popular natural deodorants i aluminium tins, these new, natural deodorants are aluminium, additive, propellant and paraben free and offered in a fully recyclable cardboard tube. All our fragrances are made from natural essential oils, blended from steam distilled fruit, flowers and plants.

Mindful of the impact of climate change on the stability of personal care products, we have tested these products at sustained high temperatures to ensure stability as our summers become warmer.

Product Description

These fabulous glide-on deodorants are aluminium free, plastic free, paraben free, alcohol free and palm oil free. They're packaged in fully biodegradable cardboard tubes and fragranced with our exclusive custom blends of essential oils, for a naturally fresh experience. The combination of rich shea butter, sweet almond oil and vitamin E protects and nourishes your sensitive underarm skin. In our extensive trials, the effectiveness of these products has been demonstrated for normal activity and also by sports enthusiasts.

Our glide-on deodorant is available in generous 60g tubes in our two, popular essential oil deodorant blends and is a super long-lasting, value for money product.

To use, simply push up the tube slightly and glide the product thoroughly, covering your underarm. As with all of our products, we refrain from adding any bulking agents or water. This means our natural deodorant is very concentrated and a little goes a long way.

Gentle, Glide-on, Natural Push-up Deodorant with Essential Oils

The deodorant is great. The consistency is not the same as with those fancy deodorants full of toxic rubbish but still, it is great. The list of ingredients is concise and most importantly, it is readable. In other words, you do not need a PhD in chemistry in order to understand what is in the deodorant. Cosy Cottage, please do not change your approach to cosmetic products!!!! My only complain, if one can call it that, is the range of choice. I am a man so flowery fragrance is not my cup of tea. Sandalwood & teatree is great but would be glad to have more choice. I gueass you will extend the range as you develop the business so looking forward to seeing new products in the deodorant range. Cosy Cottage, you found yourself a new, faithful customer.

The deeply nourishing formulation is suitable for daytime use and can be worn with or without makeup. The richness of the product means you only need a little, worked in using the fingertips, at each application. You may wish to allow the product to be absorbed for a couple of minutes before applying foundation or powder.

Our generous 60ml glass jar with an aluminium lid will last you well and thé packaging is recyclable.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Pick up a little product (a pea sized scoop is sufficient to start with) on your fingertips. If required, pick up a little more product as you go, particularly if using on the neck and decolletage areas. Remember that all our products are water free, great value for money and a little goes a very long way.
Massage gently into clean, dry skin over the whole facial skin area, using gentle, circular movelments. Extend to neck and decolletage areas too if desired, for a more wide-reaching moisturisation.
Take a little time (if you are not in a rush), to massage the product into the skin to stimulate and improve circulation.
Take care to be gentle closer to the eyes and avoid getting the product directly into the eyes.
Allow to sink in for a few moments if applying foundation over the product.
Can also be used overnight as a deep moisturisation overnight treatment. If using overnight, use around twice as much product per application as you normally require for your normal daytime use.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Needs instructions on how best to use

On first use, my initial reaction was it was a strange texture and did not wash off but left a waxy residue on ny face. I ended up removing it with the shea facial soap which I believe from reading the reviews is the best way to use the product. I will stick with it as my skin feels lovely after using it, however instructions on how to get the best out of the product and what to expect would be very useful.

A little disappointing

I absolutely adore Cosy Cottage Face Cream & Facial Oil, but I’m a little disappointed with the facial scrub. Very oily and hard to rinse off and not enough exfoliating particles to buff off dead skin.

Hi Chelsea. Thanks for your review. The facial scrub isn't really scratchy but this is because the skin on the face is very gentle. Work the product around the skin for a gentle exfoliation and then use a hot cloth to take it off. This helps soften it and adds moisture to the skin and improves the appearance of pores. Pesky pink residue

I found I had to add a bit of soap to get all of the material off my skin. It's quite oily and left my sink and cloth with lots of tiny pink dots.

This product has really helped with my dry menopausal skin. I use it as suggested on the website - rubbing it onto my skin then using a bit of warm water to massage it more and finally using the face soap and flannel to remove it. I use it every day and don’t have that dry scaly skin anymore!

Sadly disappointed 😞

I usually love Cosy Cottage products but found that this scrub is so oily that it doesn't rinse off and I then have to use a facial wash to remove it otherwise my skin is left with a greasy sheen on it. Not sure if I got a rogue batch? It exfoliates well when washing off with another fash wash!

This palm oil free, gentle facial soap is handmade from shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil and a hint of sweet orange essential oil fragrance. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Wet the surface of the hands and wet the soap surface with warm water. Dampen the face with hands or if preferred use a clean flannel or soft cloth to do so.
Massage the moisturising shea butter facial soap bar between palms to create a soft lather over the surface of the hands and along the fingers.
Apply lather to damp facial skin, massaging gently over facial skin surface to remove dirt, grease, make-up, dead skin cells or cleansing/exfoliating product reside, as required. Add more warm water if needed as you go and use a damp cotton muslin for additional exfoliation if desired.
After 1 to 2 minutes, rinse hands and face with plenty of fresh, warm water until water runs clear and face is free from lather.
Gently pat facial skin dry with a soft cloth or towel.

Our fabulous deodorants are aluminium free, plastic free, paraben free, alcohol free and palm oil free. These natural deodorants are packed in recyclable tins and fragranced with essential oils for a naturally fresh experience. The combination of rich shea butter, sweet almond oil and vitamin E protects and nourishes your sensitive underarm skin.

We offer an optional wooden spatula with which to apply this product if preferred. Particularly suitable for those with lovely, long fingernails who prefer not to clog them with deodorant :)

Our Geranium, Lavender and Tea Tree deodorant is available in two sizes, long-lasting 50ml or handy 30ml.

To use, simply scoop a very small amount of the creamy, natural deodorant product from the tin with clean hands or dab the back of the index finger in the balm. Apply onto your underarm skin. See our video on how to use here!

As with all of our products, we refrain from adding excess water. This means our natural deodorant is concentrated and a little goes a long way.

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and natural deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Our Sandalwood and Tea Tree deodorant is great for those who prefer a less floral scent and is available in a long-lasting 50ml size. An optional wooden spatula is offered with our deodorants for those who prefer not to apply with their fingers.

To use, simply scoop a very small amount of the creamy, natural deodorant product from the tin with clean hands or dab the back of the index finger in the balm. Apply onto your underarm skin. See our video on how to use here!

As with all of our products, we refrain from adding excess water. This means our natural deodorant is concentrated and a little goes a long way.

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and natural deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Within this rich and regenerative facial mask, harvested from the sea on Yorkshire's coast, is natural and fast-growing kelp, containing the compound aloin - also present in natural aloe vera gel. How to use

1. Apply to Towel Dried Hair after washing

Apply our rich and intense products sparingly; using only a few drops of serum in the palm of your hand. Rub hands together to warm and disperse the product, then massage into freshly washed, towel dried hair. Work through the hair to reach the ends, using a couple more drops as required if your hair is long.

2. Apply as a touch-up to dry hair

Using only a drop or two in the palm of you hand, rub hands together to create a thin layer and gently glide palms over the surface of the hair to tame and control flyaways and create shine.

3. Use as a nourishing overnight treatment

Apply a few drops to dry hair, again using the palms of your hands. Work through the hair and massage the scalp with fingertips. Take good care to cover any treasured bed linen, leave overnight and then wash out in the morning.

Our serum has been formulated exclusively in-house and makes a wonderful complement to our existing suite of natural, effective haircare products. The natural, preservative free and SLS free formulation makes this product ideal for those with sensitivities or a predisposition to allergies.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Apply to cleansed, dry facial skin before your moisturiser.
Using the dropper, drip around four drops into the palm of your hand. You can always add more later if required but remember that a little of this water-free, value for money, product will go a long way
Gently place palms together to share product between both hands and place palms on face. Move palms slowly over face to disperse product and then with fingertips, massage gently, using small circular movements into the whole surface of the face. Add more product a few drips at a time as needed.
Apply moisturiser as normal.
Can be used as an intense overnight treatment if required/desired. In this instange use around twice your normal daily amount of product before retiring and allow to act on facial skin overnight

The perfect Oil

Love this product. Came across them through Insta, so did my research before buying. I use face Oils often but this one is by far the best I’ve ever had. It smells divine - sweet citrusy, with hints of herb - and the perfect balance of all of those. The consistency is also perfect, not too running or thick. Just so you know - I tried to scan it on the app Yuka (an ingredients rating app for beauty products) and it came up as ‘unknown’. I believe due to the natural ingredients and ethical values, the ratings for your products would be very favourable. I always use this app in stores, it’s shocking to see the amount of harmful chemicals that are in most beauty products.

It is lovely to use, but too much can get slightly greasy. The smell is subtle and very pretty.

I use this as a bedtime hand balm. It took me a while to gauge correctly how much to use as you can easily overdo it - though excess on hands can be usefully used on elbows and knees! The scent is calming and my nails are getting stronger.

This hand cream is so soft and moisturising; your skin feels silky after use, plus it sinks in very well. The subtle smell of lavender is gorgeous and no way overpowering. I've used it on my hands, arms, feet and legs, so I will buy the larger pot next time. Fully recommend.

I have used this hand cream for a while now and find it is really good when my hands are feeling very dry. The one negative, is the time that it takes to soak in to the skin. I find the best time to apply is before going to bed and then using the bamboo gloves overnight.

We are delighted to offer a luxury three-step facial cleansing kit, presented in one of our popular Cosy Cottage branded unbleached cotton bags. The kit contains several of our most popular products and offers everything you need to gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin without stripping away moisture.

Everything in this beautiful kit is 100% vegan, palm oil, paraben, SLS and plastic free; moreover, nothing is tested on animals.

Why not treat yourself to a luxury, three-step facial cleansing ritual?

STEP 1

- Run a sink of hand-hot water and soak the organic cotton face cloth until warm

- Gently rest face cloth over the whole face to open the pores

STEP 2

- Apply chamomile make-up remover to the face and eyes, with the fingertips, in a circular motion, to remove all grease, pollutants and make-up

- Wipe away the make up remover with the facecloth

STEP 3

- Gently lather the Shea soap in the hands and apply to the face with hands, taking care to avoid the eyes.

- Use the cloth to gently cleanse the whole face and remove all traces of soap

- Use the loofah discs once or twice a week if required to exfoliate problem areas, such as the grease-prone T-Zone (Forehead, nose and chin)

- Rinse the face with warm, clean water using hands or facecloth

We recommend that loofah discs and cotton facecloth should be cleaned and left to dry in between uses. Cotton facecloth should be washed regularly.

Deliciously scented hand and body cream with geranium essential oil fragrance and a hint of sweet orange essential oil.

Our rich, soothing hand and body balm is made entirely from organic and natural ingredients, is not diluted with water and has no unnatural additives. The balm is ideal for chapped or very dry hands and contains no nasty chemicals which can leave hands feeling dry.

For very dry hands, why not add a pair of our bamboo gloves for a luxurious, moisturising treat. Cover your hands with cream, pop on the gloves and leave for 20 minutes or more. The warmth inside the gloves will enable the cream to penetrate deeply for a regenerating hand-spa experience. Remove the gloves and either rub in any excess or wipe gently with a soft cloth.

We have received great feedback from farmers, gardeners, cooks and other clients, suffering from dry skin, who have found our hand and body cream to be uniquely helpful and beneficial.

This beautiful cream is handmade in our small, cottage laboratory in Yorkshire, UK and is packaged in a long lasting 60ml or a handy 30ml recyclable glass jar. A little of this product goes a long way as we include no added water.

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Please keep them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and do pop them in the fridge to reset if required.
