Delivery

What are your delivery charges?

Domestic Delivery:

We offer free standard UK delivery for orders over £30!
For orders under £4 there is a delivery charge of £1.00.
Orders between £4 and £30 incur a delivery charge of £3.50.
We also offer the option of first class postage at £4.50.

European Delivery:

For orders between £0-20, delivery is £6.00
For orders between £20-40, delivery is £12.00
And for all order over £40, delivery is £18

Rest of the World:

For orders between £0-30, delivery is £10
For orders between £30-50, delivery is £16
And for all order over £50, delivery is £25

How long will my delivery take to arrive?

We send our orders via U.K. Royal Mail service.

Standard class UK postage should take between 3 and 5 working days.

First class UK postage should take between 1 and 3 working days.

Do you ship/deliver abroad?

Yes, we deliver worldwide. Additional shipping costs will apply in line with UK Royal Mail standard charges.

How can I pay?

You can pay by PayPal either via your own PayPal account or by debit/credit card as a PayPal guest at checkout. We also offer payment via Stripe for debit/credit cards, if preferred at checkout.

What is your online returns policy?

If your order is damaged, please let us know within 14 days and we will send a replacement.

Do you offer a gift wrapping service?

All online orders will be beautifully packaged and are suitable for sending as a postal gift.

We offer a gift wrapping service available to add on in your basket for £3.50 which includes wrap, ribbon and a personalised gift card. 

I'm short of time. Can I just give you a budget and recipient details and let you do the rest?

Of course, we will happily make up and send a beautiful box of items in line with your budget. Please email or call Clara on 01904373022. We can make arrangements for you to settle via BACS electronic transfer, directly from your account.

Our Products

Why organic and natural?

Our products contain only naturally derived and organic ingredients. Here at Cosy Cottage Soap, we avoid Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulphates, the parabens group of chemicals and all other non naturally derived fragrances, colourings and additives due to the documented and potential adverse health impacts.

Are your products vegetarian/vegan?

All our products are vegetarian and we do not undertake any testing on animals. Some of our products contain beeswax but our hand creams, our hair care and shea butter facial soaps and our foot balm do not. We are applying for the Vegan Society trademark for these products.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes, 100% of our packaging is fully recyclable or compostable.

Do you use Palm Oil?

We never use palm oil in our products due to the adverse environmental impacts of palm oil production. All our quality ingredients are sustainably sourced via our UK-based supplier.

What charity work does The Cosy Cottage Soap Company participate in?

We are proud to be partnering with The Breast Cancer Haven who will receive a donation for every bar of our Aloe Vera fragrance free Soap sold via their website www.breastcancerhaven.org.uk

Gift Vouchers

When will my payment be taken and when do I receive my vouchers?
Postal Gift Vouchers - Your payment will be taken immediately. We will put your vouchers in an attractive card with the personal message you specified. We'll then pop it in the post and it'll be on its merry way. Please allow us three working days from the date of purchase and you can let us know when purchasing when you'd like them to be received.
E-Gift Vouchers -Your payment will be taken immediately. We will generate an individual code on our system and send the email with this voucher including your personal message to the recipient's email address you provided. Please allow us two working days from the date of purchase and you can let us know when purchasing when you'd like them to be received.

I've bought a voucher for someone but they haven't received it. Where could it be?

Postal Gift Vouchers - We send vouchers by Royal Mail First Class. Please allow us three working days for the vouchers to be received. If the voucher has still not been received, let us know by sending an email to service@cosycottagesoap.co.uk and we will cancel the existing voucher code and send a new one.

E-Gift Vouchers - Please allow us two working days for the vouchers to be received. If the voucher has still not been received, ask the recipient to check their spam folder and any other folders the email could have been filed under. If the voucher still can't be found, let us know by sending an email to service@cosycottagesoap.co.uk and we will cancel the existing voucher code and send a new one.

What can I spend my vouchers on?

All vouchers can be used on our entire product range except for our monthly Sudscription service. Vouchers cannot be used towards shipping but any order over £30 has free shipping. Therefore, the voucher can be used against the total amount for orders over £30 or on products only, for any orders until £30.

Can I spend some of my voucher now and save some for later?

No sorry. You have to spend at least the amount that the voucher is worth. Remember, you can't use your voucher towards shipping costs. Once the voucher code has been used, you won't be able to use it again.

How long does my voucher last for?

The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date it was purchased.

You have my email address, will I receive spam?

Absolutely not. We hate spam. We asked you to 'opt in' to our email marketing preferences. We will only contact you to tell you about the exciting news we have that's in our newsletter each month as well as relevant offers that you will find interesting. If you sign up and change your mind, you can easily unsubscribe at the bottom of each email.
