learn how and create your own soaps to use at home or give as gifts

We are delighted to continue to offer our make-at-home packs alongside a demonstration video and have now scheduled one face to face workshop too.

A morning of palm oil free soap making Sunday 5th September

We are delighted to offer another of our popular Sunday morning soap making workshops in Malton, North Yorkshire. Numbers are strictly limited to enable safe accommodation and distancing within our premises.

The session will run from 10.00am (please arrive in good time) to midday on Sunday 5th September 2021.

Participants will learn about the history and chemistry of soapmaking, watch an end to end demonstration and create a batch of soap to take home. Tickets are available via EventBrite via the link below

Make at home soap pack with demonstration video

We will deliver your very own pack and pre-recorded 90 minute demonstration video, with everything you need to make your own soap at home. Learn about the history and science of soap and then watch Clara show you how.

For just £39, we will send all of the ingredients, which are pre-weighed and packaged and you will receive a pre-recorded video file, which you can watch as many times as you wish as you make your own soap, using your pack.

You'll also receive email support for any questions you may have about the process of soap making.

We sometimes choose the dates of our workshops around the fabulous Malton monthly food market, which takes place on the second Saturday each month. As well as the market, Malton boasts a wealth of artisan and independant traders, beautifully presented in a historic market town setting, so anytime is great to visit.

Many people visiting for our workshops make a weekend of it with friends. Therefore, we've put a couple of recommendations together below to help you plan your next trip to Malton.
