Wild Seaweed Soap from the Yorkshire Coast
Wild Seaweed Soap: Developed and Made in Yorkshire with Locally Sourced Seaweed
A luxurious, long-lasting 130g natural bar soap, handcrafted in our Yorkshire workshop using wild seaweed, sustainably harvested from the North Yorkshire coast, just 45 minutes from where we make it. Blended with a custom mix of pure essential oils to evoke the fresh, gentle fragrance of a sea breeze.
Skin Benefits Backed by Research & Customer Feedback
Wild seaweed has been cited in peer-reviewed research for its ability to:
- Support regeneration of connective tissue in the skin
- Help lighten dark spots and uneven skin tone
- Deeply moisturise dry and dehydrated skin
- Provide relief for eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis sufferers
- Help protect against photoageing — skin damage caused by UV exposure
Our own customers consistently report that our seaweed soaps soothe itchy, dry, and sensitive skin, feedback that reflects what the research suggests.

What is Aloin? The Active Compound in Wild Seaweed
Wild kelp is a natural source of aloin, a bioactive compound with well-documented skin-regenerating properties. By adding the seaweed towards the end of the saponification process, we preserve as much of this beneficial compound as possible in the finished bar.

Naturally Cleansing and Free from Harsh Chemicals
Unlike most commercial soaps, our wild seaweed bar contains no SLS, SLES, artificial surfactants, preservatives, parabens, synthetic fragrances, dyes, or titanium dioxide whiteners. The rich, natural lather comes entirely from our carefully chosen blend of high-quality plant oils and fats; gentle enough for sensitive skin, effective enough for everyday use.
