Developed with a Practising Midwife
Our chamomile baby soap was developed in partnership with Emily, our resident midwife who practises at York Hospital. It is gently fragranced with chamomile essential oil from steam-distilled chamomile flowers, and made from a gentle blend of coconut oil, shea butter and extra virgin olive oil. Completely free from SLS, SLES, synthetic surfactants, artificial colourings, stabilisers and preservatives. Suitable for babies from newborn onwards.
Genuinely Natural, Not Just on the Label
We know that "natural" is a word that gets used a lot in baby products. At Cosy Cottage, we think it is worth being specific. Our baby soap contains five ingredients. All five are natural. There are no hidden synthetic surfactants, no petroleum-derived ingredients, no artificial fragrances, no preservatives and no fillers. Every Cosy Cottage product holds a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), independently assessed by a highly qualified cosmetic safety assessor and valid in both the UK and EU. We also work closely with a microbiology laboratory to ensure everything is completely safe.
Natural, Sustainable and Made in Yorkshire
Handmade in small batches in our Malton, Yorkshire workshops. Palm oil free, SLS free, plastic free and cruelty free. All packaging is compostable, reusable or recyclable. Never tested on animals.

Do you offer Christmas gift wrapping?
Yes, we offer festive Kraft gift wrapping at checkout. Just select the option when you place your order and we will wrap it beautifully for you.
Can you send my order directly to the recipient?
Absolutely. We are happy to send your gift directly to the recipient anywhere in the UK or EU. Simply enter their address at checkout.
Will there be extra charges for EU delivery?
No. All relevant duties and taxes for EU orders are collected at checkout, so your recipient will not face any unexpected charges on delivery.

Please note: If you are shipping to a country outside of the UK, there may be customs charges that you need to consider before your purchase.
RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
