Inspired by the herb garden at our Cosy Cottage home in the beautiful Howardian Hills of North Yorkshire, this is one of our most special and most considered gifts. Four generous 120g bars, each fragranced with a different herb garden pairing, presented in a bespoke, sturdy and reusable Cosy Cottage box with packaging designed in-house by Eddie, our resident artist and family member. What's in the Box

• 120g Sweet Orange and Clary Sage Soap, subtly fruity and herbaceous, with clary sage reported to alleviate stress and induce a sense of wellbeing
• 120g Geranium and Bergamot Soap, beautifully fruity and floral, with bergamot long used in herbal medicine for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties
• 120g Grapefruit and Rosemary Soap, light, citrusy and fresh, with rosemary used for centuries to enhance memory and support circulation
• 120g Lavender and Peppermint Soap, calming and cooling, with lavender known to induce calm and peppermint used in herbal medicine for the relief of itching and muscle pain

All four bars are presented in Eddie's beautifully designed bespoke box, suitable for keeping and reusing.

The Herb Garden

Our herb garden range was inspired by the herbs we grow at our Cosy Cottage home in the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Yorkshire. Each fragrance pairing has been chosen for both its scent and its herbal heritage, bringing together plants that have been used for centuries for their beneficial properties. The result is a collection of soaps that smell wonderful and tell a story.

The Soaps

Each bar is handmade in our Malton, Yorkshire workshop from natural plant-derived oils, including coconut oil, olive oil and beeswax. Creamy, caring and extra long-lasting at 120g, they are ideal for both bath and shower. All fragrances are derived from essential oils made from steam-distilled fruits, flowers and leaves, with no artificial additives, perfumes or colourings. SLS free, palm oil free, plastic free and completely natural.

Eddie's Packaging

The box is designed in-house by Eddie, our resident artist and family member, whose artwork also appears on our soap wrappers throughout the range. The box is sturdy, attractive and very much worth keeping once the soaps are finished.

Natural, Sustainable and Made in Yorkshire

Everything is handmade in small batches in our Malton, Yorkshire workshops. Palm oil free, SLS free, plastic free and cruelty free. All packaging is fully recyclable cardboard or plant-derived and compostable. Never tested on animals.

Ingredients

Base (all four soaps): Sodium Olivate, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Beeswaxate, Glycerin.

Sweet Orange and Clary Sage: Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Peel Oil, Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Leaf Oil (Limonene, Citral, Linalool).

Geranium and Bergamot: Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Oil, Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) Peel Oil (Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool).

Grapefruit and Rosemary: Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil (Limonene).

Lavender and Peppermint: Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Oil (Limonene, Linalool).

Are the soaps suitable for sensitive skin?

All four soaps are SLS free, palm oil free and made from natural plant-derived oils with no synthetic additives. If you have known allergies to any of the listed essential oils, please check the ingredients before use.

How long will each bar last?

At 120g each, these are generous bars that will last considerably longer than a standard soap. To make them last longer, keep them on a soap dish between uses so they can dry out properly.

Is this gift suitable for men as well as women?
