Everyone loves a tin. This one is packed with five of our most useful and most loved natural treats, all tucked into a reusable Cosy Cottage branded tin and ready to give. Soap for bathing, lip balm for kissing, a quick-fix salve for pockets and handbags, and a bar of proper York chocolate for the moments in between. A treat for yourself or someone you want to look after this Christmas.
What's in the Tin
- 15ml Peppermint Lip Balm, all-natural, soothing and long-lasting, in a handy little tin
- 20ml Lavender Quick-Fix Salve, a versatile little tin of natural goodness, ideal as a moisturiser, cuticle treatment, pulse point balm or anywhere dry skin needs a little extra care
- 15g Shea Butter Facial Soap, gently fragranced with sweet orange essential oil, moisturising and kind to skin
- 15g Geranium Soap, uplifting and floral, fragranced with pure geranium essential oil from steam-distilled flowers
- 15g Orange Soap, energising and envigorating fragranced with distilled orange zest
- 30g Milk Chocolate Bar, made by our friends at ChocAffair in York, palm oil free and delicious
Presented in a reusable Cosy Cottage branded tin, easy to post and a delight to receive.
The Lip Balm
Our peppermint lip balm is made from just five natural ingredients, including beeswax, shea butter and avocado oil, with a gentle peppermint flavour from pure essential oil. Long-lasting, deeply moisturising and presented in its own little tin, it is the kind of thing people use every single day and never quite get round to buying for themselves. Which makes it a very good thing to find in a Christmas tin.
The Quick-Fix Salve
Our lavender quick-fix salve is one of our most versatile products. Small enough to slip into a pocket, bag, desk drawer or bedside table, it works beautifully as a hand cream, lip treatment, cuticle balm or pulse point moisturiser. Made from natural plant-derived oils and fragranced with pure lavender essential oil.
The Soaps
All soaps are handmade in our Malton, Yorkshire workshop from natural plant-derived oils. The shea butter facial soap brings the intensely moisturising properties of shea butter to the face and body, gently fragranced with sweet orange. The geranium soap is uplifting and floral, fragranced with pure geranium essential oil from steam-distilled flowers. Both are SLS free, palm oil free and completely natural.
The Chocolate
Our milk chocolate bar is made for us by ChocAffair in York, using Colombian milk chocolate with 45% cocoa solids. Palm oil free and very hard to save for later.
Natural, Sustainable and Made in Yorkshire
Everything is handmade in small batches in our Malton, Yorkshire workshops. Palm oil free, SLS free, plastic free and cruelty free. All packaging is fully reusable, recyclable or compostable. Never tested on animals.

Lavender Quick-Fix Salve: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil (Limonene, Linalool).
Shea Butter Facial Soap: Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Sheabutterate, Sodium Olivate, Glycerin, Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil (Limonene, Citral).
Orange Soap: Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Olivate, Sodium Beeswaxate, Glycerin, Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil (Limonene, Citral).
Geranium Soap: Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Olivate, Sodium Beeswaxate, Glycerin, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Oil (Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool), Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil (Limonene).
Milk Chocolate Bar: Milk Chocolate (min. 45% cocoa solids, min. 20% milk solids) (Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Milk Powder, Cocoa Mass, Emulsifier: Soya Lecithin, Vanilla Extract).

Is this gift suitable for men as well as women?
Yes, it is in our Cosy Christmas Especially for Him collection for good reason. Lip balm, salve, soap and chocolate are universally useful and universally appreciated. The fragrances are warm and unisex.
Is the tin reusable?
Yes, the tin is sturdy, attractive and very reusable. Once the contents are enjoyed, it makes a lovely storage tin for small things.
Can I add a personalised message to my order?
Yes, you can add a personalised message or gift card at checkout. Simply tick the gift options box and add your message, and we will include it with your order.
Do you offer Christmas gift wrapping?
Yes, we offer festive Kraft gift wrapping at checkout. Just select the option when you place your order and we will wrap it beautifully for you.
Can you send my order directly to the recipient?
Absolutely. We are happy to send your gift directly to the recipient anywhere in the UK or EU. Simply enter their address at checkout.
Will there be extra charges for EU delivery?
No. All relevant duties and taxes for EU orders are collected at checkout, so your recipient will not face any unexpected charges on delivery.

RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
