Why This Collection Works for Sensitive Skin

Every product in this collection has been selected because it is free from synthetic fragrances, SLS, artificial preservatives and palm oil. All are handmade in small batches at our Malton workshop in North Yorkshire. The wild seaweed and aloe vera at the heart of this box are both well-regarded for their naturally soothing, anti-inflammatory properties, making this a genuinely thoughtful gift rather than simply a beautiful one.

The North Yorkshire Coast Connection

The wild seaweed used in both the soap and the face mask is harvested from the North Yorkshire coastline, just a short distance from our Malton cottage where Cosy Cottage began ten years ago. Named Best Handmade Soap and Skincare Brand 2026 for Northern England by Global Health and Pharma Magazine, Cosy Cottage Soap has been handcrafting natural skincare in Malton, North Yorkshire for ten years. Everything we make is palm oil free, cruelty free and made from raw materials in our own workshop.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

We will turn your Standard Class Post order around within two working days. Thereafter for Standard Royal Mail Tracked delivery, Royal Mail aim to deliver in 48 hours. The cost of this service is currently £3.50 with free postage available for orders over £40 and for regular purchases via 'Subscription'. 
We will turn your First Class Post order around within one working day. Thereafter for First Class Royal Mail Tracked delivery, Royal Mail aim to deliver in 24 hours. There is a small additional charge for this First Class service.  
There is also is the option to select a DHL courier delivery (free on orders over £120). This is a next day service where recipients receive a tracking link via email and can opt to receive text updates too. Please enter a mobile number when you checkout to take advantage of this text service. For orders from abroad additional shipping costs are in line with U.K. Royal Mail standard charges.
 
You can buy a 12 months free delivery pass for just £12 which allows you to use the code RMDEL1 during checkout to get free Standard Class Royakl Mail delivery for all your orders, irrespective of value, for 12 months.
 
All orders will be beautifully packaged using biodegradable materials. If you have purchased a gift box, this will be wrapped in brown paper so the presentation box is kept intact. Furthermore, we offer a gift wrapping service available to add on in your basket which includes wrap, ribbon, and a personalised gift card. 
 

Many customers opt to shop by telephone and we can be contacted on 01653 693555 if you wish to do this and create a special personalised gift package by telephone.

Please note: If you are shipping to a country outside of the UK, there may be customs charges that you need to consider before your purchase.

RETURN POLICY

We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.

If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.

If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
