A 120g herb garden soap, a hand-poured soy wax candle and a bar of proper dark chocolate from York, all presented in a Cosy Cottage labelled gift box. A treat for the skin, the senses and the sweetest tooth.

The Soap
Our sweet orange and clary sage soap is part of our herb garden inspired range, handmade in our Malton workshop from natural plant-derived oils. Sweet orange essential oil from steam-distilled orange zest is paired with clary sage for a warm, uplifting and beautifully balanced fragrance. The wrapper is designed by Eddie, our resident artist and graphic designer, who creates all of our wrapper artwork. Almost too pretty to unwrap. Almost.
The Candle
Our sweet orange and cinnamon ramekin candle is hand-poured in our Yorkshire workshop using 100% soy wax and fragranced only with natural essential oils. Warm, festive and unmistakably Christmassy, with an estimated burn time of 20 hours in a well-ventilated, draught-free area. The ramekin is reusable once the candle is finished.
The Chocolate
Our dark chocolate bar is made for us by ChocAffair in York, using Colombian dark chocolate with a minimum of 60% cocoa solids. Rich, intense and the perfect companion to a warm, fragrant room.
Natural, Sustainable and Made in Yorkshire
Everything is handmade in small batches in our Malton, Yorkshire workshops. Palm oil free, SLS free, plastic free and cruelty free. All fragrances are made from steam-distilled plants, flowers and fruits with no synthetic additives. All packaging is fully reusable, recyclable or compostable. Never tested on animals.
Candle Safety
- Never leave your candle unattended
- Keep well out of reach of children and pets
- Leave at least 10cm between burning candles
- Do not burn near anything which might catch fire

Sweet Orange and Clary Sage Herb Garden Soap: Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Olivate, Sodium Beeswaxate, Glycerin, Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil (Limonene, Citral), Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Leaf Oil (Linalool, Limonene).
Dark Chocolate Bar: Colombian Dark Chocolate (min. 60% cocoa solids) (Cocoa Mass, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Emulsifier: Soya Lecithin, Natural Vanilla Flavouring), Natural Flavouring.

Absolutely. We are happy to send your gift directly to the recipient anywhere in the UK or EU. Simply enter their address at checkout.
Will there be extra charges for EU delivery?
No. All relevant duties and taxes for EU orders are collected at checkout, so your recipient will not face any unexpected charges on delivery.

Many customers opt to shop by telephone and we can be contacted on 01653 693555 if you wish to do this and create a special personalised gift package by telephone.
Please note: If you are shipping to a country outside of the UK, there may be customs charges that you need to consider before your purchase.
RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
