Sustainably Harvested
We source our sponges from one of our longstanding, trusted suppliers. They are harvested by skilled divers who cut the sponge carefully, leaving the root system intact in the sea bed. This allows the sponge to fully regenerate -- meaning the harvest is genuinely sustainable rather than extractive. No dredging, no trawling, no damage to the sea bed.
Why Natural Rather Than Synthetic?
Conventional synthetic sponges and plastic-backed washcloths are made from petroleum-derived materials. They shed microplastics with every use, they don't biodegrade, and they tend to harbour bacteria in their structure. A natural sea sponge is the opposite on every count -- naturally antimicrobial, fully biodegradable, and plastic free from first use to end of life.
How to Use and Care For Your Sponge
Dampen the sponge thoroughly before use -- it will soften and expand. Work up a lather directly with your soap bar, then use in the shower or bath as you would any sponge. After use, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry fully between uses in a well-ventilated spot. A fully dried sponge will last significantly longer and stay fresher than one kept damp.
Plastic-Free and Fully Biodegradable
No plastic, no synthetic materials, no petroleum derivatives. At end of life, a natural sea sponge will simply biodegrade -- unlike its synthetic counterpart, which will outlast all of us.

RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
