What Makes This Soap Different?

Most soaps rely on sulphates, detergents and added foaming agents to do their job — ours don't. Our Energising Sweet Orange soap is handmade in Malton, Yorkshire, from a careful blend of natural coconut oil, olive oil and beeswax in exactly the right proportions to foam beautifully all by themselves. The result is a rich, creamy lather that cleanses gently without stripping or drying your skin.

Essential Oil Fragrance, Nothing Artificial

That uplifting, fresh citrus scent comes entirely from sweet orange essential oil, steam-distilled from real fruit zest. No artificial perfumes, no synthetic colours. Just nature doing what it does best.

Every bar is SLS free, additive free, palm oil free, cruelty free and plastic free. Swap your plastic bottle of shower gel for a solid bar and you will keep one more single-use plastic out of landfill. All our packaging is fully recyclable cardboard or plant-derived, including our clear bags and bubble wrap, which compost within a year.

Is this soap suitable for the face?

Yes, many customers use this soap on their face as well as their body. It is SLS free and made from natural oils, making it gentle enough for most skin types. If you have very sensitive facial skin, our Moisturising Shea Butter Facial Soap is specifically formulated for facial use and may suit you even better.

How long will a bar last?

A 55g bar will typically last three to four weeks with daily use. A 110g bar will last six to eight weeks. To extend the life of your bar, keep it on a well-draining soap dish between uses so it can dry out properly between washes.

Is there a vegan version?

Yes. This soap contains beeswax, which makes it suitable for vegetarians but not vegans. Our Vegan Sweet Orange Soap uses a plant-derived wax instead and is otherwise identical in fragrance and feel.

Do I have to subscribe?

No, absolutely not. Every size is available as a simple one-off purchase. The subscription option is there if you want the convenience of regular deliveries at a saving, but it is entirely optional and there is no pressure to sign up. If you do subscribe, you can pause or cancel after three payments with no fuss.

Do EU orders incur extra charges on delivery?

No. All relevant duties and taxes for EU orders are collected at checkout, so you will not face any unexpected charges on delivery.
