Our award winning regenerative Aloin-Rich Face Mask - part of our growing facial skincare and beauty range. 

This generous and long-lasting 100ml tin uses the well-known therapeutic qualities of aloin, found in both aloe vera and in kelp. This new mask will nourish dry facial skin, regenerate and help to soothe troublesome conditions including rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.

Harvested from the sea on Yorkshire's coast, natural and fast-growing kelp contains the compound aloin, which is also present in the natural aloe vera gel, within this rich and regenerative facial mask. Aloin is proven to help regenerate the connective tissues within the skin, regenerating and improving its structure and appearance. The nutrient-rich seaweed has also been known to counteract the sign of aging, helping to smooth pigmentation imbalances and even lighten age spots.
 
Our award winning product was developed by our in-house chemists in partnership with external cosmetic safety consultants and skincare specialists. The product is made in the Cosy Cottage workshops in Malton, North Yorkshire, using processes which consume little fossil fuel and produce minimal waste.  As with all Cosy Cottage products, this product is made without hormone-disrupting parabens, sulphates and harmful preservatives. It is also 100% palm oil free, and the packaging is plastic-free and fully recyclable. 

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

  1. Pick up a scoop of product on your fingertips or a soft brush if preferred. Start with a marble sized amount of mask. You can pick up more product as you go. Remember that all our products are water free, great value for money and a little goes a very long way.
  2. Apply gently onto the surface of clean, dry skin over the whole facial area, using gentle, sweeping movelments. Apply sufficient mask to leave a layer or top of the skin and avoid getting the product into your eyes. You can use a soft brush to sweep the product onto the skin preferred.  
  3. Relax and lie back and allow the product to sink into the skin. We recommend leaving the product for a period of 15 to 20 minutes if you are able to do so. The product will however prove effective after around 5 minutes if you are short of time. 
  4. After leaving for the chosen period, gently massage any product which has not been absorbed, over the skin's surface, using small, circular movements. Take care to avoid the sensitive eye area. 
  5. Remove any residual product from the skin's surface gently using a slightly damp soft flannel or cloth and pat dry.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (shea) Butter, Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, Eco preservative (Benzyl alcohol, sorbic acid, salicylic acid). Laminaria Digitata (Kelp), Cedrus Atlantica Bark (Cedarwood) Oil, Rosmarinus Officanalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Amyris Balsamifera (Sandalwood) Oil, Cymbopogon Flexuosis (Lemongrass) Oil - Citral, citranellol, geraniol, limonene, linalool

Standard Royal Mail Tracked delivery (RM aim to deliver in 48 hours) is currently £3.50 with free postage available for orders over £40 and for regular purchases via 'Sudscription'. There is an option to upgrade to 'First Class' delivery, which is Royal Mail's 24 hour service (RM aim to deliver in 24 hours), for a small additional charge at checkout. There is also is the option to select a DHL courier delivery (free on orders over £120). This is a next day service where recipients receive a tracking link via email and can opt to receive text updates too. Please enter a mobile number when you checkout to take advantage of this text service. For orders from abroad additional shipping costs are in line with U.K. Royal Mail standard charges.
 
 
You can buy a 12 months free delivery pass for just £12 which allows you to use the code RMDEL1 during checkout to get free delivery for 12 months.
 
 
 
All online orders will be beautifully packaged using biodegradable materials. If you have purchased a gift box, this will be wrapped in brown paper so the presentation box is kept intact. Furthermore, we offer a gift wrapping service available to add on in your basket for £4 which includes wrap, ribbon, dried flowers and a personalised gift card. An optional full sized greetings card is also available at a small extra cost when you check out. 
 

Many customers opt to shop by telephone and we can be contacted on 01653 693555 if you wish to do this and create a special personalised gift package by telephone.

Please note: If you are shipping to a country outside of the UK, there may be customs charges that you need to consider before your purchase.

RETURN POLICY

We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.

If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.

If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.

Cosy Cottage Aloin Rich mask

Unlike any other face mask I have ever tried. Works well onto the skin and no after mess, but leaves your face feeling really moisturised. Skin seems to absorb what it needs. Have even put on prior to walking my dog as a layer of protection against freezing winds.
