Most baby soaps, even those marketed as ‘natural’ or ‘gentle’, contain water as their primary ingredient, which requires heavy-duty synthetic preservatives to prevent microbial growth. Many also contain SLS or related surfactants that strip and dry delicate skin. The Cosy Cuddles Shea Butter Baby Soap contains none of these things.

Instead, it’s built on a simple, pure blend of three plant-derived ingredients; coconut oil, shea butter and extra virgin olive oil,  gently scented with steam-distilled Roman chamomile flower essential oil. Nothing artificial. Nothing unnecessary. Safe from day one.

Why Chamomile?

Roman chamomile flower essential oil has been used for centuries in natural remedies and herbal medicine for its soothing, calming properties. It’s a well-established aromatherapy ingredient for relieving skin irritation and rashes, and its gentle, warm scent is naturally calming for babies and parents alike. We chose it specifically because it’s one of the mildest essential oils available, kind enough for newborn skin.
