Goats milk has been used in skincare for centuries and modern science is beginning to explain why. A 2025 peer-reviewed study published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences identified antimicrobial, immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects from bioactive compounds in goats milk, including proteins influenced by genes such as lactoferrin (LTF), lysozyme (LYZ) and β-casein (CSN2), all of which play a role in skin health and barrier function.*
While no clinical trials for eczema or psoriasis have yet been completed, the emerging science is consistent with what our customers have been telling us for years: this soap makes a real difference to reactive, sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
Locally Sourced, Raw Goats Milk, just10 Minutes from Our Workshop
We source our raw goats milk from Wolds Barn Produce in Duggleby, North Yorkshire, just a ten-minute drive from our Malton workshops. The herd is cared for by Sam, who knows every goat by name. The milk is fresh, local and raw, not reconstituted or imported and that provenance matters to the quality of the finished soap.
We make these soaps from raw materials in our Malton workshops, using processes that consume minimal fossil fuels and produce no waste. Not from imported soap bases or industrial soap granules like many commercially produced alternatives.
Two Versions: Carefully Formulated for Different Ages
Both versions have been fully safety assessed by an independent, external cosmetic safety consultant, and developed with ongoing input from a fully qualified midwife and a paediatric nurse.
- Fragrance Free — suitable for babies from 4 weeks and upwards. Ideal for those with multiple allergies or sensitivities who need a completely additive-free soap. The gentlest option we make.
- Light Lavender — suitable for children aged 3 years and upwards. Scented very gently with steam-distilled lavender essential oil from lavender flowers and with no synthetic components. A calming, gentle fragrance that’s naturally soothing at bath time.

RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.

I gave this to a friend as her 6 year old daughter suffers with eczema. After using it twice her skin was less itchy and notably clearer. When the first soap ran out, she started to use their previous 'free from' shower gel until their order arrived and she complained that her skin was itchy, once she started using the soap again, everything was fine.
