Goats Milk Soap by Cosy Cottage for babies, children and adults
We have partnered with our friends just down the road in Duggleby, North Yorkshire, at Wolds Barn Produce. Their local, raw goats milk is some of the best we've found and we are delighted to be able to offer these luxurious and long-lasting 120g bars of goats milk soap to our customers.
Goats milk soap is cited in many studies as being helpful for eczema and other skin conditions. Therefore, to widen the positive benefits we are able to offer our customers, we have created two versions:
- a fragrance free version which is suitable for babies from 4 weeks and anyone older. This is ideal too for those with multiple allergies who would be troubled by the addition of any fragrance at all
- a lightly lavender essential oil scented version which is suitable for anyone over the age of three years. Our lavender essential oil is made from steam distilled lavender flowers and contains no non-natural components
These soaps are created in our Malton workshops from raw materials rather than industrially made, imported soap bases or soap granules. They're created by us using processes which consume minimal fossil fuels and produce no waste. We employ a diverse workforce and are proud to offer opportunities to those who may otherwise find it difficult to secure employment.
We use no SLS nor any other artificial surfactants or preservatives in our soaps and we avoid all palm oil or palm oil derived ingredients. Our soaps contain no colourings nor do they contain whitening agents (such as oxides of titanium). Our packaging is all recyclable or compostable too.
As always, our soaps have been fully assessed by an independent, external consultant and these soaps have been created with ongoing input from a fully qualified midwife and a paediatric nurse.

Sodium olivate, sodium cocoate, sodium beeswaxate, glycerin, caprae lac
Light Lavender Version suitable for ages 36 months (3 years) and upwards
Sodium olivate, sodium cocoate, sodium beeswaxate, glycerin, caprae lac, lavendula angustifolia (limonene, linalool)

Please note: If you are shipping to a country outside of the UK, there may be customs charges that you need to consider before your purchase.
RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.

I buy this for my daughter who suffers with eczema on her hands and she's really pleased with it.
I gave this to a friend as her 6 year old daughter suffers with eczema. After using it twice her skin was less itchy and notably clearer. When the first soap ran out, she started to use their previous 'free from' shower gel until their order arrived and she complained that her skin was itchy, once she started using the soap again, everything was fine. My friend can't praise this soap highly enough.
