Most barrier creams contain water, as their base ingredient, which requires synthetic preservatives to keep the product safe and stable. Many also contain mineral oils, artificial emulsifiers and other additives that sit on the skin rather than nourishing it. The Cosy Cuddles Baby Barrier Cream contains none of these things.
Instead, it’s built on a concentrated blend of pure plant-derived oils, butters and plant waxes, with no water, no preservatives, and no artificial additives of any kind. The result is a rich, protective barrier cream that genuinely works.
Why Glycerin Makes This Different
At the heart of this formula is natural, palm oil-free glycerin, a powerful humectant that draws moisture to the skin and helps maintain the skin’s natural barrier function. Glycerin has been widely studied for its ability to improve skin hydration and strengthen the skin’s defences against irritants and infection.
This makes it particularly effective in two situations parents know well:
- Nappy rash — the glycerin-rich, plant oil based formula creates a protective barrier in the nappy area, helping to prevent and soothe soreness caused by moisture and friction
- Dribble rash — babies who dribble heavily can develop sore, red skin around the chin, cheeks and neck. Applied regularly, this cream helps protect that delicate skin from the constant moisture that causes irritation
Our candelilla wax, derived from the leaves of the candelilla shrub, provides natural emollient properties and ensures the formula stays stable without any synthetic additives.

Like all products in the Cosy Cuddles range, this cream is gently fragranced with steam-distilled Roman chamomile flower essential oil, chosen for its well-established soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
