Our nourishing and refreshing, oatmeal, lemon and peppermint hand and body scrub is handmade in our Yorkshire workshop from natural, palm oil free ingredients and is packaged in recyclable or reusable packaging. The 100ml aluminium tin of scrub is coconut oil and shea butter based with plant derived glycerin, which is a powerful moisture retentive ingredient; ideal for dry, dull skin.

This nourishing, smoothing scrub is best massaged into skin using gentle small, circular movements and is suitable for hands, feet and body

Hands - use weekly or twice weekly to smooth any calloused, rough or hard skin before rinsing away any residual grains of oatmeal then moisturising thoroughly with one of our popular hand and body creams with essential oil fragrance

Feet - use weekly or twice weekly to soften hard skin prior to wiping away any residual oatmeal grains and then following up with a treatment with our mango and lemon foot balm. For a really intense treatment, for example to sooth badly cracked heels, pop on a pair of our bamboo socks and allow the Mango Foot Balm to soak in overnight.

Body - use on dry skin before entering the bath or shower or on wet skin in the shower to boost circulation, remove dead skin cells and help break down cellulite before rinsing and showering as usual.

Oatmeal - This popular, natural exfoliant absorbs excess oil from the skin and helps treat acne. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help relieve dryness and remove dead skin cells and the naturally occurring saponins within this popular skincare friend, are natural cleansers; removing the dirt and oil which can clog pores.

Lemon essential Oil - Rich in anti-oxidants, refreshing and energising. This essential oil can restore and brighten tired, sagging or damaged skin.

Peppermint Essential Oil - Renowned for its antiseptic and antibacterial properties alongside its cooling, soothing action to calm irritation and inflammation.

Use this to scrub my feet with a pumice. Skin always feel silky smooth after. Only thing i found is that it needs to be kept cool or else it goes like liquid and needs refrigerating to set it again. (not great sat in a bag when you go away for a weekend)

This fabulous deodorant is packed in recyclable tins and fragranced with essential oils for a naturally fresh experience. The combination of rich shea butter, sweet almond oil and vitamin E protects and nourishes your sensitive underarm skin.

Our Sandalwood and Tea Tree deodorant is great for those who prefer a less floral scent and is available in a long-lasting 50ml size. An optional wooden spatula is offered with our deodorants for those who prefer not to apply with their fingers.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Take a small swipe of product on a fingertip, spatula or knuckle
Apply to the underarm
Massage into the underarm gently until absorbed
One application will normally last all day but the product is safe to reapply later in the day if required (eg after intense exercise)

From removing stains from fabrics to shining kitchen sinks and cooker hobs - this solid cleaning soap does the job. This household cleaner can be used on multiple surfaces, leaving no residue or chemical smells behind. The residue, when washed down your sink, is fully biodegradable, unlike a multitude of traditional, detergent containing alternatives, which build up in our waterways, harming fish, water-based life and adding to the chemical imbalance in our rivers and oceans.

HOW TO USE:

On Fabric Stains:

Rub the Cosy Cottage household cleaning bar directly onto stains, hand wash and rinse. Repeat as desired for stubborn stains or use as a pre-wash treatment before putting into the washing machine. Very stubborn stains may take 2x treatments.

For hand washing and pre-wash soaking on stubborn stains, allow the bar to soak for 1 minute to moisten the soap and then apply directly onto stains and leave to soak.

On Kitchen and other hard Surfaces:

Rub the bar onto your cloth/sponge and apply to the surface to clean. For burnt on food or stubborn grease, leave for 5 minutes and wipe off to remove stains. Rinse as required.

Eco friendly cleaning at iys best

I purchased the Household Cleaning soap on a whim to replace several household cleaning products for the kitchen. I have not been disappointed and have used it on the sink, draining area, taps and for general cleaning. The results have been great - no residue. I also used it on a grease stain on a T shirt- it got rid of the stain. I am impressed.

Soap which lasts ages

Impressed. Rubbed it on a tomato soup stain on a white tablecloth, put it in the wash & it came out clean. It's good on my glass hob, and on the glass protective sheets on my worktops. Cleans worktops too. Good using it on the sink. I bought one for a friend who loves the smell!

Natural & Effective

A great natural deodorant which works. It lasts longer than a spray can, is all natural, smells great, is easy to apply and does the job just as well. When I first tried it I was worried it would be sticky but it isn't. My Husband loves it too. We will never go back to the chemical deodorant sprays.

This deodorant works well and I like the card casing. Lasts a long time too, and doesn't melt in the summer heat.

Ineffective

Sadly I found this item to be greasy, lack fragrance and be ineffective, which is very disappointing. I did contact customer service to ask if it was a batch issue or if others had found the same, however, was advised this deodorant doesn’t suit all and that I could buy the item in the tin as this is more concentrated and has a stronger fragrance. Further disappointing as this is not stated on the website under the push up product, which I think it should be.

Lovely product

The smell is gorgeous and very calming. The only thing I would say is that when applied on pulse points it has a very slightly burning effect. It is not unbearable but it is noticeably. However this could just be me.

Not to my liking

I tried this on my wrist but found the smell far too strong and couldn't wash it off. I even rubbed some neat washing up liquid on my wrist plus several hand washes and it took ages to go. I love essential oils but won't use anything that you can't wash off normally because it's far too strong. I'm sure lots of people love it but not for me.

The best product I’ve ever put on my face

I have super sensitive, dry, red skin which reacts to everything I put on it. The Rosehip & Raspberry Leaf Oil Serum is the first product I’ve used in years which not only did not make my skin angry and painful, but also makes my face feel soothed, properly moisturised and protected. I use it twice a day as an amazing base layer and primer before make-up in the day and moisturiser at night. I love it.

Perfect for my postpartum skin

I got mine at a little apothecary in matlock bath and will not ever use anything else (if I can help it)

Fantastic Product

Have been using this for around two months and it is truly excellent. I also use the Francinsense one at night. It has massively improved my skin texture and prevented breakouts. How to use

1. Apply to Towel Dried Hair after washing

Apply our rich and intense products sparingly; using only a few drops of serum in the palm of your hand. Rub hands together to warm and disperse the product, then massage into freshly washed, towel dried hair. Work through the hair to reach the ends, using a couple more drops as required if your hair is long.

2. Apply as a touch-up to dry hair

Using only a drop or two in the palm of you hand, rub hands together to create a thin layer and gently glide palms over the surface of the hair to tame and control flyaways and create shine.

3. Use as a nourishing overnight treatment

Apply a few drops to dry hair, again using the palms of your hands. Work through the hair and massage the scalp with fingertips. Take good care to cover any treasured bed linen, leave overnight and then wash out in the morning.

Our serum has been formulated exclusively in-house and makes a wonderful complement to our existing suite of natural, effective haircare products. The natural, preservative free and SLS free formulation makes this product ideal for those with sensitivities or a predisposition to allergies.

Natural hair serum

Smells lovely but I found it a little too heavy for my hair, even just a couple of drops made my hair look greasy. I have a bob haircut which is prone to frizziness but I just found this serum too rich. I think if you have long hair or curly hair it would be ideal.

Love the soap, been using it for a while now, i would highly recommend it,

So far so Good

Early days as only used twice so far on towel dried hair after washing but seems to be helping with less hair shedding, does very slightly make hair look a little greasy but not much, but it does have lots of oils in ingredients so to be expected a little, even though my hair is quite long - 2-3 drops at most is all it needs, should last ages, will continue with and hope it keeps improving my hair condition, promising so far, would recommend to try it.

Bought for my daughter who says that whilst the product does improve the feel and strength of the hair, it does leave it looking slightly greasy.

Marula Oil is made by pressing the seeds of the native African Sclerocarrya Birrea bush, it is rich in fatty acids including omega-6 and omega-9 that reduce inflammation, promote collagen production and strengthen the skin barrier. Marula oil is also a good source of Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, which protects skin from free radical and pollution damage.

Frankincense (boswellia carterii) oil has been used to enhance skin health for over 5,000 years. Boswellic acid, found within frankincense, has been subject to scientific studies and cited as a UV inhibitor, providing protection against sun damage. It has also been found to be helpful in counteracting the effects of photo-ageing, in particular improving skin texture and smoothing fine lines.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Apply to cleansed, dry facial skin before your moisturiser.
Using the dropper, drip around four drops into the palm of your hand. You can always add more later if required but remember that a little of this water-free, value for money, product will go a long way
Gently place palms together to share product between both hands and place palms on face. Move palms slowly over face to disperse product and then with fingertips, massage gently, using small circular movements into the whole surface of the face. Add more product a few drips at a time as needed.
Apply moisturiser as normal.
Can be used as an intense overnight treatment if required or desired. In this instance, use around twice your normal daily amount of product before bed and allow to act on facial skin overnight

Prunus amygdallus dulcis (sweet almond) seed oil, Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) oil, sclerocarrya birrea (marula) seed oil, Rosa Canina (rosehip) oil, argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil, boswellia carterii (frankincense) essential oil, pogostemon cablin (patchouli) essential oil, lavendula angustifolia (lavender) essential oil, linalool, limonene)

Sops and oil

Soaps lather well and smell lovely oil I find a little greasy but that might be my fault perhaps putting too much on have only tried once but when I have finished some other products will then give them another go especially the soaps

This serum goes on smoothly and sinks into my skin leaving it looking fresh and plumped. Can highly recommend.

We are delighted to launch our natural, lavender and lemongrass, biodegradable surface cleaning spray, created from a unique blend of the very latest in biosurfactants together with fresh, anti-microbial lavender and lemongrass essential oils. Each 15ml refill adds to 485ml of water (in a spray bottle) to create a longlasting 500ml of household surface spray.

Perfectly suited to those with more sensitive skin, the gentle creamy formulation is blended with citrus and black pepper natural essential oils, giving a delightful natural, fresh fragrance.

As with all our products, this deodorant is aluminum free, plastic free, paraben free, alcohol free and palm oil free. It is packed packed in a handy 50ml recyclable tin and is long-lasting, due to needing only a very small amount for each application. Our natural deodorants are aluminium, additive, propellant and paraben free and offered in a recyclable aluminium tin. We compared our 50ml product to a 250ml spray can of deodorant, we used our customers’ feedback, volumes used and price data and we see a saving of over 50% of the daily cost.

The main reasons for the difference?

Only a tiny bit of natural deodorant is needed to be effective
Reapplication is required less frequently

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Take a small swipe of product on a fingertip, spatula or knuckle
Apply to the underarm
Massage gently until absorbed
One application will normally last all day but the product is safe to reapply later in the day if required (e.g. after intense exercise)

We offer an optional wooden spatula with which to apply this product if preferred. Particularly suitable for those with lovely, long fingernails who prefer not to clog them with deodorant :)

I have tried quite a few natural deodorants and this one is up there with the best. You need less than you think so it should last a very long time. The tin is a bonus as you can use everything up so no waste either.
