The uniquely relaxing and calming lavender fragrance is achieved by the addition of lavender essential oil without the addition of potentially harmful artificial perfumes or colourings.

We are delighted to offer our customers these limited edition, 'Low Mile' soaps, made with distilled lavender essential oil, made from lavender flowers from glorious Yorkshire. These special, natural, low-mile, palm oil free soaps, are a beautiful evocation of the Yorkshire countryside within which we live and work.

Grown in lavender fields located within ten miles of our workshops in Malton; sustainability, localness and family values are the driving forces for these new, local supplier partnerships with lavender growers. 

Our delightful, exclusive wrappers are designed by our in-house designer and local artist, Eddie Walker.

Lavender boasts outstanding healing and relaxation properties and the gentle, natural aroma in shower or bathroom is a great addition to your relaxation and pre-bedtime rituals.

Our creamy and caring coconut oil based soaps are all handmade in small, waste-free batches in Malton, Yorkshire, UK.  The gentle fragrances are provided by the addition of essential oils, made from steam distilled flowers, fruits and herbs. 

Everything is SLS free, additive-free, palm oil-free, cruelty-free, plastic-free and delightfully 100% natural. All packaging is either fully recyclable cardboard or plant derived and compostable. At Cosy Cottage we do not test anything on animals and we do not commission third parties to do so on our behalf. We have plenty of willing friends and family members who are more than happy to test our products themselves and we work closely with medical professionals,  a cosmetics safety consultant and microbiology lab. to ensure everything is absolutely safe to use.  

The soap bar is suitable for use in the bath or shower and is particularly suitable for customers seeking a gentle, natural cleansing product. The 100% unbleached cotton facecloth for cleansing, rinsing and gentle exfoliation accompanies the soap perfectly,

A 60ml glass jar of our popular coconut and shea super-soothing, additive-free hand and body balm, fragranced with natural, relaxing lavender essential oil, made from steam distilled lavender flowers, and a 55g bar of our additive-free coconut oil based soap. 

All lovingly handmade in Malton, Yorkshire, UK, everything is SLS free, additive-free, palm oil-free, cruelty-free, plastic-free and delightfully 100% natural. All packaging is either fully recyclable, reusable or plant derived and will compost within a year.

Our rich and soothing hand and body balms and our gentle soaps are made entirely from natural ingredients and contain no unnecessary additives. The hand and body cream is not diluted with water so a little goes a very long way. 

We have received great feedback from farmers, gardeners, cooks and other clients, having dry skin, who have found our hand balm to be uniquely helpful and beneficial.

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Please keep them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and do pop them in the fridge to reset if required.

Our rich, soothing hand balm is made entirely from natural ingredients, is not diluted with water and has no unnatural additives. This intensely moisturising product is coconut oil based with shea butter and aloe vera. The balm is ideal for chapped or very dry hands. A gentle lavender scent is created by the addition of essential oil fragrance.

For very dry hands, why not add a pair of our bamboo gloves for a luxurious, moisturising treat. Cover your hands with cream, pop on the gloves and leave for 20 minutes or more. The heat inside the gloves will enable the cream to penetrate deeply for a regenerating hand-spa experience. Remove the gloves and either rub in any excess or wipe gently with a soft cloth.

This beautiful hand balm is handmade in our small laboratory in Yorkshire, UK and is packaged in a 60ml recycled glass jar. A little of this product goes a long way as we include no added water - 60ml will serve you well for times to come.

There is an option with this product to purchase a smaller 30ml jar which is ideal for handbag or travel.
