This exclusive, science-led, natural treatment has been designed in-house by our founder and CEO, a qualified chemist and cell biologist, with valued input from our consultant beauty therapists and medical professionals.

Our luxurious and effective treatment incorporates a selection of our most popular, award winning facial products, all of which have been designed and formulated in-house and whose naturally therapeutic ingredients include:

• Shea butter - fatty acids, like linoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids - helps to restore the skin's natural barrier and create moisture
• Coconut oil - a gentle and yet powerful cleanser containing. Lauric and capric acid, can kill harmful microorganisms that cause skin infections
• Aloe vera - soothing, antibacterial and effective in reducing hyperpigmentation and redness from conditions such as rosacea
• Aloin - the active ingredient in aloe vera, enhanced by the addition of locally sourced kelp, containing collagen and elastin, to naturally repair skin tissues and slow down the development of wrinkles
• Raw, local honey - a natural humectant to draw water from the environment and promote hydration alongside powerful antimicrobial properties to soothe irritation
• Rosehip oil - rich in vitamin C, a natural and high impact antioxidant to protect ageing cells from damage and restore evenness. also contains high levels of Vitamin A to stimulate the production of collagen
• Raspberry seed oil - a natural sun protection agent, rich in restorative vitamin E and Omega - 3 fatty acids

Our Signature Rejuvenating Facial includes a facial massage to stimulate circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, relieve stress and ease tension in the facial musculature.

Our qualified, in-house therapists are trained in delivery of facials and massage techniques. They also work exclusively with and possess in-depth knowledge about the composition and effectiveness of our award winning products.

A non returnable deposit of £15 is payable on booking these treatments. The deposit may be transferred to another booking with 7 days notice if required. The balance will is payable in-store when you attend for your treatment.

Join us for the day in our Malton, Navigation Wharf workshop for a glorious, relaxing crafting day. In the morning, create two large (300ml) or several smaller 100% soy wax, scented candles, then in the afternoon, we enjoy a session of palm oil free soap-making, making six bars of your own signature, cold process soap to take home. We will share a delicious lunch together and there will be time to wander around Malton's Market Place after lunch too, if you wish.

In our spacious premises in Navigation Wharf, Yorkersgate, next to the Talbot Hotel, Malton, we will be hosting up to ten participants for each of the morning and afternoon sessions. The programme for this special all-day event is as follows

Your palm oil free soaps are created from vegetable oils and waxes using the cold process soap-making method. No melt-and-pour synthetic soap bases here! Your 100% soy wax candles are made from 100% high quality soy wax; no paraffin or smoky waxes!. Your items will be unique to you, personalised with your own dried flowers, fruit, exfoliants and essential oil fragrances.

These workshops make superb gifts. If you would like a card to be sent to the recipient, please select your Gift Card and add your message at checkout. Please ensure that we have the address for the recipient if you would like the card to be sent directly 

The morning sessions will start at 10.00 a.m. and finish around noon and  afternoon sessions will start at 2pm and finish at around 4.00pm (depending on how quickly we work - we do not like to rush, it's meant to be relaxing!)

This product is handmade and should be washed by hand using our stain removing, multi use household cleaning soap.

Our handy wooden spatula is ideal for applying our deodorants and creams. Made from wood and bearing our exclusive Cosy Cottage logo, they make a handy accessory.

Our clients with long, beautiful fingernails, who wish to protect them from clogging or marking, find these handy applicator spatulas particularly useful. 

Our natural, intensely moisturising baby balm is made by hand in small, waste-free batches from coconut oil, shea butter, sunflower oil, calendilla wax and rosehip oil. We add no water to this rich, moisturising product and a little goes a long way.

The unique, golden colour of this luxurious, natural balm is created by the addition of rosehip oil, which contains Vitamin A and is reported to be helpful in skin healing and regeneration. Our calendilla wax is derived from the leaves of the calendilla shrub and ensures stability of the product and provides a natural emollient.     

The Cosy Cuddles range for babies and infants contains no synthetic fragrances; we prefer instead to add a hint of Roman Chamomile Essential Oil. Chamomile is frequently used in natural remedies and herbal medicine for the relief of skin problems and rashes and is an aromatherapy staple for calming and stress relief. 

This product contains no animal derived ingredients and is suitable for vegans. Like everything we produce, our baby balm is cruelty free; we never test on animals, only willing family members, colleagues and other human volunteers. 

We have worked closely with a fully qualified midwife and an independent,  professional cosmetic safety assessor to ensure the quality and safety of our Cosy Cuddles range.  

We are passionate about the environment and all our products are palm oil free. Our products are all plastic free, and all our packaging is either recyclable or compostable.

This generous 60ml jar will last well and should be kept with the lid on in an ambient temperature.

As with all baby skin products, the balm should not be used on broken skin

Butyrospermum parkii butter, cocos nucifera oil, helianthus annus oil, rosa canina seed oil, calendilla cera, anthemis nobilis flower oil 

Our rich, protective baby barrier cream is handmade in our workshop in Malton, Yorkshire, in small, waste-free batches. The concentrated, protective formula is based on coconut oil and shea butter, with rapeseed derived glycerin and calendilla wax.

Our products contain no added water, hence the richly moisturising effects of the coconut oil and shea butter are undiminished. Glycerin, a natural humectant, has been widely reported to help with skin hydration and improving the function of the skin as a barrier to infections and irritants.  Our calendilla wax, which is derived from the leaves of the calendilla shrub, ensures stability of the product and provides a natural emollient. Together, this unique blend of oils, glycerin and natural plant wax, creates an effective barrier for use in the nappy area, in particular.

100ml Baby Barrier Cream with Chamomile Essential Oil

Our super-soft goat hair hairbrush is ideal for arranging babies' soft and delicate hair and gently massaging the scalp area to promote healthy bloodflow and clear skin on the scalp.

The body of the brush is made from natural beech wood and the bristles from super-soft, shed goat hair. 

The easy-grip design ensures practicality of use as part of babies' daily care routine. 

Organic Cotton Hooded Towel.

This delightful, generous, hooded towel is created exclusively for Cosy Cottage Soap and is made from luxurious, soft, unbleached and undyed cotton. The cotton used is certified organic by ETKO to Global Organic Textile Standards. 

The towel measures 75 x 75cm and is ideal for swaddling. The hood, generous size and rich texture all serve to keep babies warm while drying after bathing.

These towels are fully washable at 60 degrees Celcius and should be laundered separately from dark colours.

A gloriously satisfying and exclusive blend of vetiver, grapefruit and cedarwood essential oils. The dominant fragrance, vetiver is known as 'miracle grass' or 'the oil of tranquility' and is reputed to be beneficial in soothing anxiety, insomnia, fatigue and depression.   

Each generous 100ml diffuser will last for approximately three months, at normal room temperature and in cool conditions, for longer. Each 300ml candle will burn in a draught free environment for between 30 and 40 hours.

Each creamy and caring coconut oil based soap is made entirely from sustainably sourced, organic and natural ingredients with no artificial additives. 

Order in batches of 100, 250, 500 or 1000. The cost includes the soaps, wrapping and design sign off together with the printing costs for your own customised wrappers with our printers. Just provide your name or logo and we will design it for you or be more involved and bring your own ideas to us.

Carole hosts her range of complementary therapies in our luxury treatment room at 17 Market Place, Malton YO17 7LP. These one hour sessions are suitable for all ages and genders and cover the range of treatments in which Carole is skilled. 

Sports Massage & Deep Tissue Massage

Both sports massage and deep tissue massage are therapeutic techniques designed to relieve muscle tension, improve flexibility, and aid in recovery. While they share similarities, they serve different purposes based on an individual's needs.

Carole uses a combination of techniques from both disciplines depending on the issue and work to be done and applies some massage assisted tools as and when necessary, to tailor these sessions to clients' individual needs.

Saving money and saving the planet go Hand in Hand

Our natural deodorants are aluminium, additive, propellant and paraben free and offered in a recyclable aluminium tin. We compared our 50ml product to a 250ml spray can of deodorant, we used our customers’ feedback, volumes used and price data and we see a saving of over 50% of the daily cost.

The main reasons for the difference?

• Only a tiny bit of natural deodorant is needed to be effective
• Reapplication is required less frequently

Product Description

Now available in this handy, discounted pack of two deodorants, showcasing both of our wonderful, scented natural deodorants. Not sure which to try? One person likes floral and another likes 'woody' scented? This pack is just right for you! You choose your preferred combination from the dropdown.

Two, natural, long-lasting deodorants: fresh and fantastic Geranium, Lavender and Tea Tree and our less floral but equally wonderful Sandalwood and Tea Tree, both in a 50ml size.

Our deodorants are offered with an optional wooden spatula for those who prefer not to use their fingers. Particularly useful for the lucky bearers of lovely, long fingernails!

They're aluminium free, plastic free, paraben free, alcohol free and palm oil free. Packaged in recyclable tins and fragranced with pure essential oils for a naturally fresh experience. As well as providing an effective deodorant effect, the combination of rich shea butter, sweet almond oil and vitamin E protects and nourishes your sensitive underarm skin. 

To use, simply scoop a very small amount of the creamy, natural deodorant product from the tin with clean hands or dab the back of the index finger in the balm. Apply onto your underarm skin. See our video on how to apply here!

As with all of our products, we refrain from adding excess water. This means our natural deodorant is concentrated and a little goes a long way.

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and natural deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Please keep them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and pop them in the fridge to reset if required. Some customers keep their natural deodorant in the fridge during very warm weather.

Our boxes, wrappers and jars are all fully reusable, recyclable or compostable and we use no plastic packaging.
