A glorious gift, beautifully presented in an unbleached cotton, Cosy Cottage branded, drawstring bag. Something for someone special (or the perfect treat just for you).

A 60ml glass jar of our popular coconut and shea super-soothing, additive-free hand and body balm, fragranced with natural essential oils and a 55g bar of our additive-free coconut oil based soap.

All lovingly handmade in small, low waste, low energy consumption batches in Malton, Yorkshire from natural ingredients. Our rich, soothing hand and body balms and soaps are made entirely from natural ingredients, our hand cream is not diluted with water so a little goes a very long way. These intensely moisturising products are coconut oil based with the addition of shea butter and aloe vera juice. 

We have received great feedback from farmers, gardeners, cooks and other clients, suffering from dry skin, who have found our hand balm to be uniquely helpful and beneficial. People suffering from dry or cracked skin have found our soap helpful too. 

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Please keep them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and do pop them in the fridge to reset if required.

Cocos nucifera oil, Butyrospermum Parkii butter, helianthus annus seed oil, aloe barbadensis juice, citrus sinensis peel oil (citral, limonene) Naturally Derived Plant-Based Preservatives (Salicylic Acid, Glycerin, Sorbic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol.

55g Sweet Orange Soap
Sodium olivate, sodium Cocoate, sodium Beeswaxate, Glycerin, Citrus Sinensis Oil (Limonene, Citral).

Indian head massage, also referred to as champissage, is an ancient, traditional Ayurvedic treatment which focuses on the acupressure points on the head, neck, and shoulders, using circular massage strokes to improve hair and scalp condition.

This pracice has been deployed for over 2000 years and its benefits include:

  • Promoting hair growth by increasing oxygen to the scalp and follicles  
  • Relief of headaches and migraines through reduction of tension in the head, shoulders and neck 
  • Enhancing relaxation and relief of the symptoms of depression and anxiety 
  • Reduction of stress, quietenting of the mind and boosting of memory 
  • Stimulation of lymphatic and cerebral fluid drainage 
  • Improvement of sleep through promoting reduction in stress

Our experienced, consultant practitioner, Sarah Greenhough will provide 30 minute one to one treatments in ambient surroundings; fragranced with our signature blend essential oil wellbeing candles and diffusers. 

These treatments require no oils (unless desired), can be administered seated if required and can be performed through light clothing. The treatments are therefore both inclusive and accessible; perfect for newcomers to massage and wellbeing.
