Reflections on the Quiet Power of Women on International Women's Day

Mother Nature does not rush. Her seasons arrive in their own time, quietly, steadily, without apology. She does not need to shout or claw her way upwards. She fosters unhurried growth, measured by a steady rhythm; without force but with quiet resilience.

A woman’s strength needs no fanfare. It does not demand attention from a frantic world nor seek to compete in a sea of algorithms. A woman does not need to rush, her life is not a race to completion; she is meant to flourish. There will be seasons of growth and those of stillness, years of building, choosing, changing our minds. None are wasted. With passing years comes depth, wisdom, a slow and certain ripening.

A woman at one with the seasons learns to welcome change. Her face and body are not problems to solve nor projects to perfect, but markers of a life being lived. With experience comes discernment; the choice to move at nature’s pace, to seek nourishment rather than approval.

Rosehips ripen slowly.

Frankincense resin takes years to form.

Seaweed withstands the harshest tides.

… so do women …

This International Women’s Day, we invite you to take the space of just one quiet minute. Step outside. Breathe deeply. Care for your skin and yourself with intention. Honour the years that have shaped you and those still to come. You are not late, you are becoming.
