Our lemon washing soap bar was the first product we created in our Cosy Clean range, and has proved hugely popular. Economical to use, as you only use very little each time you wash the dishes, this 55g bar is an easy switch to a greener, plastic-free kitchen. With a fresh lemon citrus smell, this bar is kind to hands as it's detergent free and a natural alternative to normal washing up liquid, which can be harsh on the skin and the environment.

This product is vegetarian, palm oil free, cruelty free, plastic free and delightfully 100% natural.

The large, premium quality cotton "Bee" tea towels have been designed for Cosy Cottage by our artist friend at Cooperillo and are available with a green or white background

Simply run a sink of hot water and add the dishes! As you clean each dish, either rub the soap onto the dish (good for burnt on food), or keeping the soap on the side next to the sink, rub the cloth, brush or sponge onto the bar and then onto the dish.

You can also dissolve a little soap into the washing-up water; this solution is great as a soak for super-stubborn pans.    

Glasses should be rinsed with water before drying.

"The only thing that works"

A luxurious, vegan and intensely moisturising foot balm made with mango butter, coconut oil, aloe vera and lemon oil. Specially created to smooth troublesome, dry feet. This balm has a slightly exfoliating texture due to the presence of natural sugar crystals within the mango butter. These crystals will dissolve as the product is massaged into your skin.

We offer an optional pumice stone which offers a natural way to soften and remove dry, hard skin. Perfect for pedicures and regular foot maintenance. This natural, volcanic stone is suitable for wet or dry use.  

Additionally we offer an optional pair of unbleached natural bamboo Moisturising Socks which are designed to be worn for 20 minutes or more after smothering the feet with balm, to warm the feet, open the pores and accelerate the absorption of the balm. 

For very dry feet or cracked heels, we recommend using the moisturising socks two or three times a week.

Our mango balm is available In two sizes - a handy 30ml or larger 120ml. This luxurious balm will last well as you only need a little of the very rich cream, with no added water nor artificial additives. The 30ml jar is ideal for travel or to pop in your gym bag, and the larger 120ml jar will sit nicely amongst your spa-style products.

We have had great feedback from reflexologists and their clients, who love using this cream for treatments and lower leg massages.

We have plenty of willing friends and family members who are more than happy to test our products themselves and we work closely with medical professionals,  a cosmetics safety consultant and microbiology lab. to ensure everything is absolutely safe to use.

Our rich, soothing hand, body and foot balms are made entirely from natural ingredients, are not diluted with water and have no unnecessary and unnatural additives. This intensely moisturising product is coconut oil based with shea butter or mango butter and aloe vera. All of our gentle fragrances are created by the addition of steam distilled, plant derived, essential oils.

This option allows you to choose two, handy 30ml jars, which will arrive in an unbleached cotton, Cosy Cottage branded, drawstring bag. Our nourishing and refreshing, oatmeal, lemon and peppermint hand and body scrub is handmade in our Yorkshire workshop from natural, palm oil free ingredients and is packaged in recyclable or reusable packaging. The 100ml aluminium tin of scrub is coconut oil and shea butter based with plant derived glycerin, which is a powerful moisture retentive ingredient; ideal for dry, dull skin.  

This nourishing, smoothing scrub is best massaged into skin using gentle small, circular movements and is suitable for hands, feet and body

Hands - use weekly or twice weekly to smooth any calloused, rough or hard skin before rinsing away any residual grains of oatmeal then moisturising thoroughly with one of our popular hand and body creams with essential oil fragrance

Feet - use weekly or twice weekly to soften hard skin prior to wiping away any residual oatmeal grains and then following up with a treatment with our mango and lemon foot balm. For a really intense treatment, for example to sooth badly cracked heels, pop on a pair of our bamboo socks and allow the Mango Foot Balm to soak in overnight.

Body - use on dry skin before entering the bath or shower or on wet skin in the shower to boost circulation, remove dead skin cells and help break down cellulite before rinsing and showering as usual.

Oatmeal - This popular, natural exfoliant absorbs excess oil from the skin and helps treat acne. Lemon essential Oil - Rich in anti-oxidants, refreshing and energising. This essential oil can restore and brighten tired, sagging or damaged skin.

Our mango butter foot balm is uniquely moisturising and great for dry, hard skin, cracked heels or just sore, tired feet. The balm contains tiny fruit-sugar crystals which gently exfoliate and then dissolve to be rubbed gently into the skin.

The attractive olive wood nailbrush energises while it cleanses, smooths and readies toenails for a pedicure if required. Use the pumice stone to remove hard skin on heels, pop on the bamboo socks and leave our balm to do its work for twenty minutes or so for a really deep moisturising drench effect.
