Each Cosy Cottage branded box contains:
- A large 120g bar of fresh and floral lavender and peppermint soap, inspired by the herb garden at Cosy Cottage HQ. These palm oil free bars contain no drying artificial surfactants and are presented in an exclusive artist-designed wrapper.
- A 30ml tin of natural, peppermint oil lip balm, to keep your lips moist and hydrated.
- A 95g bar of palm oil free, handmade dark chocolate flavoured with peppermint oil. These bars are created by our good friends at Chocaffair, just down the road in York.
- Lavender ramekin candle. Our hand poured, 100% soy wax low smoke candles will burn up to a generous 20 hours in a draught free, well ventilated location. They are fragranced with 100% natural essential oils made from steam distilled flowers and fruit and contain no potentially harmful synthetic limonoids nor any petrochemical based wax emissions.
Everything is made from natural ingredients in our Malton, Yorkshire workshops. We use no palm oil, no drying artificial surfactants (SLS, sulphates, SLES, sulphites), no parabens and no artificial colours or fragrances in our products. Instead we use top quality plant derived oils, vegetarian waxes and steam distilled flowers, plants and fruits.
Our boxes, wrappers and jars are all fully reusable, recyclable or compostable and we use no plastic packaging.

Lavender & Peppermint soap - Sodium olivate, sodium cocoate, sodium beeswaxate, glycerin, lavendula angustifolia oil, piperita menthe leaf oil (limonene, linalool)
Soy Wax Lavender Ramekin Candle 4oz Lavendula Angustafolia Oil (Linalool, Limonene), Soy Wax.
Peppermint Lip Balm - Cera Alba, Persea Gratissima oil, butyrospermum parkii butter, helianthus annus oil, vanilla planifolia fruit oil or piperita mente leaf oil
Dark Chocolate Bar with Peppermint - Colombian Dark Chocolate (min. cocoa solids 60%) (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring), Natural Flavouring. Allergy Advice: For allergens, see ingredients in bold. May also contain milk, nuts and oats
DELIVERY INFORMATION
Many customers opt to shop by telephone and we can be contacted on 01653 693555 if you wish to do this and create a special personalised gift package by telephone.
Please note: If you are shipping to a country outside of the UK, there may be customs charges that you need to consider before your purchase.
RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
PAYMENT METHOD
Payment can be made with credit/debit cards, ApplePay, Google Pay, the Shopify Payments system or by PayPal either via your own PayPal account or by debit/credit card as a PayPal guest at checkout.
