N'oubliez pas qu'il suffit de peigner une toute petite quantité de notre après-shampoing super concentré à chaque fois.

The shape and texture of the wood are lovely, and it does the job as a comb, which is the main thing. Now my Chinese isn't the best, but in very nice writing it does say "fine quality walnut-wood product" (in Chinese), which is kinda amusing. Now, I definitely don't think it's walnut wood—walnut wood has a very distinct pattern. I also ironically took photos of the comb on a bamboo trap I own, so perhaps bamboo can looked quite different but I'm not certain whether the comb is bamboo or not. It just gives me some questions about the sourcing of the comb. Maybe Cosy Cottage should look into their production line and verify each step. So many reviews have unexpected engravings (mine look laser-cut and are some sort of flower). I don't think any of these things are problems and they don't affect the product much, it's just that it's important for Cosy Cottage to be aware of the production line so they can verify the working conditions and ethics of each step (which I have faith they do care about). Apologies if this review sounded negative, I do like the comb, I just also think these are important notes for the company. I'll also say I got their Shea butter soap and it is lovely! I also really appreciate the minimal packaging! It's October 2024 as of writing this, so hopefully this review can be disregarded in the future :)
