Each pack contains four 28g melts, made in small batches in our Yorkshire workshops. They are poured with care into a recycled cardboard matchbox style package, making them easy to wrap, easy to post and lovely to receive.

Steam distilled lavender fragrance
The lavender fragrance comes from steam distilled lavender essential oil, made from lavender flowers, with no artificial fragrance added. It has a natural, gentle floral character that is ideal for creating a calm atmosphere while you enjoy a bath, read a book or take a quiet moment at home.
A note on fragrance allergens
Natural does not automatically mean allergen free. Lavender essential oil naturally contains fragrance allergens such as linalool, so please check the full ingredient information if you have a known fragrance sensitivity.

Refill your melt box in Malton
When your box is empty, bring it back to our Malton store and we can replenish it with four new melts. You will also receive £1.00 off your refill.
How to use your wax melts
Place one melt in a suitable wax melt burner and light an unscented tea light underneath. Each melt can provide around 20 hours of use, depending on your burner and conditions.
Wax melt safety
- Always use your burner within sight and never leave it unattended.
- Use only standard sized 4 hour unscented tea lights. Never use larger 8 hour tea lights or multiple tea lights.
- Place the burner on a heatproof surface and keep it away from children and pets.
- Keep the wax and burner clear of debris.
- Do not eat the wax.
- Do not add water or fragrance oils to the melt well.
- Never pour melted wax down a plughole.
- The burner and wax remain hot after the tea light is extinguished. Do not move the burner until it has cooled completely and the wax has hardened.
- Never place the burner in a freezer to remove wax, as this can weaken the burner.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does one melt last?
Around 20 hours of use, depending on your burner and how warm and airy the room is. With four melts in a box, that is roughly 80 hours of fragrance.
Do I need a special burner?
Any standard wax melt burner designed for a 4 hour unscented tea light will work. We sell a boxed melt and burner set if you need the burner too.
Will lavender really help me relax?
Lavender is traditionally used to encourage calm, and research into its aroma compounds is encouraging, but this is a home fragrance rather than a medicine. Most people simply find the scent soothing.
How do I get the old wax out of my burner?
Let the wax harden fully, then gently pop it out and dispose of it in your bin. Never pour melted wax down a plughole, and never put the burner in the freezer.
Can I post these as a gift?
Yes, the matchbox style box is compact and letterbox friendly, and you can add gift wrapping and a personalised message at checkout for delivery straight to the recipient.
Can I refill the box?
If you can get to our Malton store, bring the empty box in and we will refill it with four new melts and take £1.00 off.

RETURN POLICY
We are currently unable to accept returns for our items unless they are damaged and hence unuseable.
If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days and we will send a replacement or offer a refund. Please get in touch with a photograph of your damaged product and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
If a refund is the way forward, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Alternatively, we will send out a replacement item to be arranged with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
