This rich, long-lasting, supremely moisturising honey and rosehip oil face cream is made entirely from natural ingredients, without any artificial additives, palm oil or added water. This unique product is enriched with a glorious blend of eight, natural ingredients, each imbued with valuable and complementary properties to enrich, nourish and repair delicate facial skin. Great value for money - this 60ml pot lasts most customers 4-6 months with daily use. Only a little is needed.

- Shea butter containing high concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins to soften, nourish and repair tired skin

- Raw honey to naturally balance bacteria and control blemishes, including acne 

- Rosehip seed oil; high in essential fatty acids, including linoleic and linolenic acid to hydrate dry, itchy skin and tighten skin

- Hempseed oil containing tocopherols;  similar to the vitamin E group of compounds whose skin benefits are invaluable in enriching and regenerating new skin cells

- Aloe vera juice, containing enzymes, antioxidants and vitamins A and C to treat and soothe dry skin, renew and refresh

- Coconut oil whose moisturising properties help minimise wrinkles, ameliorate the signs of aging and boost nutrients

- Patchouli essential oil which has been traditionally used for treating skin conditions and sensitivities such as dermatitis, acne, or dry skin

- Geranium essential oil whose astringent effect allows skin tissues to tighten and contract, significantly reducing the appearance of wrinkles and also has antioxidant properties to slow down skin aging

The deeply nourishing formulation is suitable for daytime use and can be worn with or without makeup. The richness of the product means you only need a little, worked in using the fingertips, at each application.  You may wish to allow the product to be absorbed for a couple of minutes before applying foundation or powder.

Our 100% palm oil free, Seagrown branded, kelp infused hand and body moisturising cream was developed in our Yorkshire workshop and is handmade in Malton, Yorkshire from a combination of locally sourced seaweed and premium quality, natural plant oils, each renowned for their skin benefits. These oils include coconut oil and shea butter which form the base of this intense, long lasting, moisturising product.

Unprocessed, dried kelp, harvested by our friends at Seagrown, from the North Yorkshire coast, is infused in aloe vera juice before being added to this uniquely beneficial cream for which we have received an enthusiastic response from both men and women customers. 

The key bio-active component, aloin is present in both aloe vera and in even greater concentrations in kelp. Aloin has been cited in several studies as being helpful in regenerating the connective tissues within the skin, improving its structure and appearance and therefore counteracting the signs of ageing. Other compounds present in seaweed act as tyrosinase inhibitors and have hence been shown to have a positive impact on skin pigmentation, including smoothing pigmentation imbalances and lightening age spots. Naturally occurring polysaccharides present in kelp have been demonstrated to retain moisture and act as an outstanding skin moisturiser and humectant, to an even greater extent than the well known skincare ingredient, hyaluronic acid.

We have received a wealth of positive feedback in our trials, from eczema, rosacea and psoriasis patients about the benefits of this cream. 

This product contains no added water and hence requires no artificial emulsifiers or surfactants, which are frequently cited in exacerbating skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. Additionally, the absence of water makes this a very long-lasting product; a little goes a very long way. The absence of added water also enables the use of preservatives to be minimised and hence this kelp infused moisturising cream is free from potentially hormone disrupting additives such as parabens, present in the majority of commercially produced skincare preparations. 

The gentle, unique fragrance in our moisturising hand and body cream complements the natural, fresh aroma of the kelp and is created from a unique blend of essential oils, made from steam distilled flowers , plants and fruits. No synthetic parfums are added to this long lasting product, which is presented in a fully recyclable aluminium tin.

This intensely moisturising product is coconut oil based with shea butter or mango butter and aloe vera. All of our gentle fragrances are created by the addition of steam distilled, plant derived, essential oils.

This option allows you to choose two, handy 30ml jars, which will arrive in an unbleached cotton, Cosy Cottage branded, drawstring bag. Just let us know which two balms you'd like (see the choices at the bottom of the page). Our 30ml jars are ideal for your handbag or travel bag and the intense, water free formulation will ensure they last you well.

Everything at Cosy Cottage is SLS free, additive-free, palm oil-free, cruelty-free, plastic-free and delightfully 100% natural. All packaging is either fully recyclable cardboard or plant derived and will compost within a year.

The balm is ideal for chapped or very dry hands. A gentle sweet orange scent is created by the addition of essential oil fragrance. Available in a 30ml size or 60ml size.

For very dry hands, why not add a pair of our bamboo gloves for a luxurious, moisturising treat. Cover your hands with cream, pop on the gloves and leave for 20 minutes or more. The heat inside the gloves will enable the cream to penetrate deeply for a regenerating hand-spa experience. Remove the gloves and either rub in any excess or wipe gently with a soft cloth.
