Join professional beauty therapist, Sarah Greenhough who will be demonstrating techniques and explaining the background and benefits of this natural beauty and wellness practice, which is growing rapidly in popularity in 2024. 
 
Facial yoga has been reported to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and promote enhanced lymphatic drainage and improved circulation, leading to a reduction in facial puffiness. Other benefits reported by practictioners include improved control of facial muscles leading to improved nostril breathing.

Join us for one of our 30 minute participative demonstrations of this popular approach to natural beauty. The session will focus on the benefits of the practice in a private, quiet area at the rear of our Malton store. 

- Promotion of firmer/smoother skin
- Plumping skin/stimulating natural collagen
- Reduction of fine lines/wrinkles
- Promotion of a calm mind and overall feeling of wellbeing

Sarah and our Cosy Cottage team will be on hand to provide natural beauty advice and free mini treatments throughout the day too

Capacity for these popular demonstrations will be limited so we are asking for a nominal £12.00 reservation deposit for your choice of demonstration, £5.00 of which is redeemable on the purchase of any items in-store on 8th June 2024.

Indian head massage, also referred to as champissage, is an ancient, traditional Ayurvedic treatment which focuses on the acupressure points on the head, neck, and shoulders, using circular massage strokes to improve hair and scalp condition.

This pracice has been deployed for over 2000 years and its benefits include:

  • Promoting hair growth by increasing oxygen to the scalp and follicles  
  • Relief of headaches and migraines through reduction of tension in the head, shoulders and neck 
  • Enhancing relaxation and relief of the symptoms of depression and anxiety 
  • Reduction of stress, quietenting of the mind and boosting of memory 
  • Stimulation of lymphatic and cerebral fluid drainage 
  • Improvement of sleep through promoting reduction in stress

Our experienced, consultant practitioner, Sarah Greenhough will provide 30 minute one to one treatments in ambient surroundings; fragranced with our signature blend essential oil wellbeing candles and diffusers. 

These treatments require no oils (unless desired), can be administered seated if required and can be performed through light clothing. The treatments are therefore both inclusive and accessible; perfect for newcomers to massage and wellbeing.
